Next week I expect new great stills, some meaty interviews/information and an official new poster.

Next spot, maybe next weekend (if we going by TDK's marketing) but that poster is late, where is it?!

I wouldn't have been shocked if we got it any day this week, which is why I've been so disappointed to see something new in the photo thread...that isn't the poster. I thought posters usually came with the trailers. hmmmm...

The choice to release the trailer early was interesting so we'll see how the poster falls in comparison.

They are almost bound to go with a Batman-centric poster but at the same time they will try to maintain, playing up the finality of the whole thing. I'm curious how they will do that.

I doubt there's a poster ready, otherwise it would have been more appropriate to release it ages ago.

Confirms it as a EMP gun

Yeah releasing it in time for the The Avengers premiere, having it hang in the theaters when so many people were there would have been the obvious choice.

I think they might be waiting to release it whenever they can redo the main site, with added Hans Zimmer track.

Part of me is convinced they had a poster ready based on the "flare" scene, then messenjah matt's poster emerged and put theirs to shame That would explain the 'delay'.

The poster is ready... these things are done way in advance. They may be perhaps iffy on it and are still tweaking it.

But the concept and basic structure is surely all but done.

Watching the best (terrible) copy of the prologue clips, I think I can see all the lights turning off as the Batpod drives past. Especially in the last few frames, where the bottom half of the screen is in darkness.
