Eh Djokovic wins and there's just a general feeling of sadness, I'm not even a Rafa fan but you want a 9 time champion to go out in a thrilling 5 setter. Hopefully the great man can come back.

Still have a feeling that old Muzza may upset Djokovic... it would be the ultimate troll move!
 
I'm quite sad about that too. Rafa was unplayable on clay for so long. Muray 2 sets up against David Ferrer.
 
Well, it had to end sometime. But darn, i was hoping Rafa would get to 10 FO titles this year. But hey, there's always next year :cwink:

It's crazy to think that this is only his second lost ever at the French Open though, wow. How long will we have to wait to see someone have that kind of dominance again? Me thinks a very long time.

Congrats to Novak. Let's see if he can finally get his grandslam this year.

Djoker's level was UNREAL during that match with Rafa. There's no denying he's the best in the world ATM. First set got close after Novak threw away that huge lead but the next two sets were pure dominance.

I think Novak wins against Murray in straight sets and Stan will have a 5 setter with Tsonga. Look forward to both matches but think Stan/Jo will be more popcorn.

Also happy for Lucie Safarova. Hell of a run she's had and truly dedicated to the sport. Nice to see that dedication pay off.

He's definitely developed into the premiere whiner on tour over the past five years. The victim mentality is actually astounding sometimes. Despite this, he's still also one of the most humble guys on Tour and quick to offer up heady praise to guys that don't deserve it
 
Look at Andy Murray, fighting and stuff. Just when you thought he was going to queitly self-destruct.

Wawrinka needs new pants for the final though, geesh lol. Those look like pj's :funny:. Sucks that Murray/Djokovic couldnt finish today though. Hopefully they'll be able to get it over and done with tomorrow as early as possible.
 
I hate how the French Open is stuck in the middle ages. It ruins matches. Also, if you are going to do crap like this, at least start the matches earlier. They started the semis way to late in the day.
 
After three big holds, Djokovic, threatened all set, gives up his serve and the second set. Set apiece.

Wawrinka is playing really well. Looks like it'll be another Djokovic-Wawrinka classic
 
Wawrinka keeps threatening every Djokovic service game, and he finally breaks at love to push ahead 4-2 in the third

Wawrinka is in scary mode right now
