The Thing-Better or Worse?

Any comparison shots? Can't tell much of a difference...

His texture and face look much better in 2.

Johnny is going bald, lol.

couldn't even be bothered to dye his hair blonde.

I think he looks worse.

Okay, he still looks too HUMAN in my opinion, and I can't reconcile with him with the real Ben, but it terms of movies, he looks.... BETTER in RotSS. (Damn, my shorthand for Revenge of the Sith is gonna get confused with this..)

heh, this reminds me of when everyone started using POTC for pirates of the carribean

I thought they were all talking about Passion of the Christ...

got very confusing....

He's exactly the same. Another wasted opportunity to improve the franchise. :down

Brow slightly increased, stomach slimmed down, maybe some elevator shoes... Just what we were asking for last time.
It looks okay to me.

Better that 1 only because he looks a bit bigger. Still doesn't look like the Thing to me.

A little better than he did before. His brow is bigger and it looks like he's a little taller.

What mag is that last pic from?

The differences are small, ie: slightly larger brow, deeper orange color, higher waist on his pants with a better belt and so on, so I'd say it does look better this time round....but...it is still underwhelming for me: Just doesn't have that 'wow' factor I think they really could have gotten with Ben.

Anyways, I did a quick manip on the suit for fun to try and get something I personally think would be more impressive:

Main things I altered were making the brow a little bigger again, pinching the nose up a little, beefing up the chest a bit and extending the arms.

He looks slightly better, but still not intimidating enough, and i'd have to see him in motion to make a full judgement.

Slight improvement...

Man, it's amazing how just a slight tweak to his brow and nose can make him look SOOOOO much more like the Thing! Good job, Wob! Good work on the traps too!

The face looks more Thing-like, which is good. The only thing I still have an issue with is his width, which CGI could obviously do, as Dead Man's Chest showcased, but whatever.

I think he's been improved. I love the coloring much more than the scabby, fleshy, burn-unit look he had in the first film. Agreed with the others though: There isn't a drastic change aesthetically...more or less just streamlined.

Looks about the same to me. They say they made the brow as big as it could be, and not look stupid. What are they talking about??? Of course it wouldnt look stupid if it were as big as in the comics? Its a guy made of rocks for petes sake....Hollywood sucks. They should listen to the fans for once.

He has a more defined physique. I like the larger brow. Still not right but better.
