The Thread of Injustice

I don't know how to activate a clash.

When you are on your second life bar, just press forward and the meter burn button(RT/R2) when your opponent begins to combo u.

Random question: Why is this game not carried by Redbox? Does Warner's Games have some restriction on Redbox?

I ask because I would've very much like to play it, but my mileage with fighting games is very low. I don't do online play, so essentially, I will play through storymode (which I figure is 6-8 hours) and I will play through a few arcade modes for the characters who particularly interest me, and that will be it. So I don't want to buy when a couple day rental will give me all that I need.

Here's a first look at Red Hood in-game:

Wonder who'll be cheaper. Deadshot or Red Hood?

Would be cool if Red Hood had a Gun Fu-esqe fighting style like something you'd see in a John Woo film or Equilibrium.

Man Swamp Thing is quickly becoming a favorite. Looove that they added him. Dude is criminally underrepresented.

I'm wondering the same thing. Was hoping to rent it at first but it's not even listed as coming soon

Yeah, its not even referenced on their website. I've gotta think it is something to do with Warners Games restricting it somehow?

Oh man, major spoilers/speculation.

[BLACKOUT]If you already beat the story mode, in Wonder Woman's chapter it's arguably revealed that Wonder Woman is responsible for all the bad **** that's going on. In main continuities Superman has killed before and as a result either exiled himself or relinquished his powers and hung up his cape. The major difference in Injustice is that Superman has had Wonder Woman in his ear the entire time pushing him further towards corruption and malice by reassuring him that his actions were just. Now there's a theory circulating that Injustice Wonder Woman is really Circe posing as Wonder Woman.

There are two pieces of evidence that support this. The first being the Circe Shader that's in Wonder Woman's inventory. The other an intro between Darkseid and Wonder Woman.

Darkseid: What primitive weapon is that?
Wonder Woman: The Anti-Life Equation.
Darkseid: Finally, your true nature is revealed!
[/BLACKOUT]

Thoughts on this? Kind of mindblowing if it's true. And it would explain why the Injustice Universe is so ****ed up.

Dude that would be incredible if Circe turned out to be disguising herself as Wonder Woman. That would mean she took down the League by herself and it would raise her profile immensely! Plus it seems like something she'd do to!

In the prequel comics of the first game, Wonder Woman gets put in a coma for months. During that time, Supes gets worse and when Diana finally wakes up she's shocked how much Clark and the world has changed. There's tension between them for a couple of issues and it's teased that she may join Batman after going at it with Sinestro but ends up following Supes all the way and not just because she starts to agree with him but because she obviously loves him.

So no, that theory ain't it!

I take everything as long as it makes this injustice wonder woman not be "actual" wonder woman.
Her whole character in the series is awful, i take every retcon and stuff over Lady Mcbeth Wonder Woman and being Supermans love interest.

They already ignored and changed what happened at Arkham. I wouldn't be surprised if they start to change more. If we'd 100% follow the comics, then Scarecrow should be dead.

Is there an option to not allow loadouts or gear in multiplayer matches?

Didn't realize this until now but you can increase the damage you dish out in your super moves if you hit the heavy attack button and time it with the moment each hit comes in contact with your opponent. Pretty nifty.

oh!! interesting!!

Just completed part of a Multiverse Event with a Level 18 Superman against Level 5 AI. That was fun.

I think everyone on the Superman side sucks, particularly Kal himself. Don't really dig anything about the "Injustice" Earth. One of the reasons I don't put much thought into the story for this game

If you are looking to level a character up quickly, iv found if u just go to single fight(with the rounds to win at 1) choose very easy for ur opponent, you can level up pretty damn fast. You get about 500 XP per match and each match is over in about a minute or so

yeah, I'm not a fan of this messed up dystopian Injustice Earth, either.

hope in Injustice 3, we get a return of "Normal" Earth where the heroes are heroes.

or else, as others have mentioned here, have Flash do a "Flashpoint" reset of Injustice Earth.

I'm tired of noble characters like Superman and WW being portrayed as bad.

Of course, DC's golden child Batman would never be portrayed as the villain no matter what Earth the story is set in. :whatever:
