The Ultimate edition is $40 more than the standard edition.

So, I'm guessing the Season Pass with all DLC characters will be $40, too?

Hopefully the Season Pass includes the 3 premiere skins as well.

It would be nice if NRS threw in an additional level in a future update of Injustice 2, sorta like what they did with adding The Pit for free for Mortal Kombat X players.

That's 3 out of 9 characters. Look I don't agree with shady business practices, but video game development ain't cheap. If 6 of those 9 are being worked on AFTER the game went gold then I don't see the issue. And WBG seems to be trying. They could have pulled a *****-move and charged money for armor sets. Instead they opted for a No Pay 2 Win policy, and are only making money off of idiots who want to spend on comestic crap.

Charging for DLC characters and premiere skins is acceptable IMO. Especially if they extend the games life by supporting multiplayer and multiverse modes with new content. In a perfect world every publisher would be like CDPR, but this world ain't perfect.

The only reason why they didn't charge for armor sets is they know they wouldn't have been to get away with it. If they could have, they would have. The "game development ain't cheap" argument is ******** because we both know that is not why this is done. Finished content should be available at launch at no addition cost. The fact that CDPR are championed for basic decency tells you everything you need to know about the modern games industry.

it's really ****ed up and blatantly anti-consumer. People just eat this **** up and it boggles my mind. I get that folks are excited to see their favorite character's inclusion in the game, but they put her behind an additional paywall on top of the 60 bucks you're paying.

Video games have always cost around $60. If adjusted for inflation that means games should be about $90 now, plus they are way more expensive to make and you are getting a lot more for your money. It's unfortunate but DLC and season passes are probably one of the only reasons a base game still costs $60 and not $100.

While I would have preferred Star ( and some other characters ) to be on the base roster, the base roster is already pretty sizeable, imo, and there are plenty of modes in the game, including a full blown story mode.

So, it's not like they are charging $60 for a meager starting roster and bare bones features/modes, and THEN charging for additional characters as DLC. Street Fighter V felt like an unfinished, overpriced game at launch. Injustice 2 does not.

so, in this case, I don't mind paying for a Season Pass for 9 additional characters, provided it's not more than $40 of course.

Injustice will be filled to the brim with content, sure, but with most games do not give you more for your money, in fact most triple A titles have LESS content than their predecessors, look at Street Fighter V and Star Wars Battlefront. I don't buy for a second that these games would cost more without it, that is industry spin. Unreal 4 does not cost that much to license and its incredibly easy to use. Not to mention Netherrealm's base engine has not changed that much under the hood since MKDC.

There are tools out there that have made all of this easier to do and more cost effective. Download Unreal, Unity, Maya, etc and tinker with it and you will almost immediately understand how much ******** the triple A publishers are feeding you. That is all I'm going to say about it.

I'm still hoping for Raven, but now I'm less hopeful based on the silhouettes.

That female silohuette looks like Rebirth Raven to me but it could also be Enchantress as the two have similar looks. Could also be Vixen.

yeah, looking at Rebirth Raven from the Injustice 1 mobile game, I'm now thinking the far right silhouette still has a chance of being Raven.

Rebirth Raven does sort of have a "skirt" design for her upper clothing.

And, if you look at enlarged photos of the silhouettes, it does seem like she could have "clawed" fingers, which Rebirth Raven has.

and it looks like the silhouette could possibly be wearing a hood.

I kind of hate this period between launch and DLC. Cause there's a chance characters you're pulling for might not make it. I could care less for Raven, I'd rather have Zatanna again tbh, but I know just as many people do like Raven. Truth be told I'll be really disappointed if my boy Constantine doesn't make the cut. Fingers crossed. I think Injustice could use a self loathing ****-talking Brit.

That's kind of greedy though isn't it? That's basically a whole Teen Titans line up. The only character from Justice League Dark that's on the roster is Swamp Thing. It'd be cool of one of those slots went to Constantine, Zatanna, or Entrigan.

as a fan of the original TT show, I wouldn't mind if the full line up got in.

However, based on the silhouettes, it looks like we will only be getting one more female. That could be Raven, or Terra, or someone else entirely. but it prob won't be both Raven or Terra.

As for Beast Boy, I've seen some speculate the silhouette on the far left could be him, or perhaps that "big guy" next to raiden could be a "beast form" Beast Boy.

While I'd love BB, I don't think logistically he would work in this game - especially with the armor/gear system.

So, imo, if we get another Titan, I don't think we will be getting more than one more, which could be Raven or Terra.

I've also seen Azreal or Killer Croc being thrown around.

Or maybe it's Killowag (sp?) from the Lantern Corps.

It does look "non-human", though, so it could very well be someone like Etrigan.

Also, I wouldn't be mad if NRS hooked the fans up with DCCW premiere skins for free. It's cool if you're a huge fan of the CW shows, but it's a considerably smaller demographic than say the amount of fans of the DCEU.
