Blue Beetle is pretty damn awesome in this.

Yea he is. I played a few rounds with him, just cuz I didn't know who the hell he was but he seems to be pretty epic. Just with a few hours of play, I think there are some really strong characters here. Robin, Darkseid, Cold and some others (along with the legacy characters) look to be fairly high tier.


Side note. There hasn't been any word of alt costumes coming out has there? REALLLLLLY hoping for some of the CW shows to make costume appearances here.

I hate Damian but in this game he looks and plays good. My favorites to play as are Batman, Green Lantern, Flash and Bane

Playing through the story, and Chapter 1 is already kinda weird.

Batman gets mad at Damian because he kills a serial killer, and then we cut to the present and he's working with Harley? Who helped the Joker nuke Metropolis? Like that seems a bit backwards.

I do like how the conflict starts in Gorilla City of all things. It's great to see them take a gritty and serious approach to something as silly as a city full of talking gorillas.

how prominent of a role does Supergirl get in the story?

and is her alignment good or bad?

Supergirl has a very decent sized role in this story. I'd say she has the 2nd or 3rd most important role in the game.

As for alignment, she starts off as a Regime member trying to protect her cousin but later switches sides after realizing how much of a tyrant he's become.

The character models and graphics are so much better than the first game. Cyborg and Harley look real at times. Super Girl and Wonder Woman look improved since the first trailer. Catwoman is so damn beautiful!

In an interview with Game Rant, Ed Boon revealed that there was a "possibility" that Watchmen characters could come to Injustice 2 via post-launch DLC.[/FONT]

Where the hell is Nightwing? I havent followed the character announcements too closely and just assumed Dick would be in this only to not see him on the character select screen. He was probably my favorite in the first game

Dick died in the prequel comic of the first game. Damian took the Nightwing mantle in that game but is now just Robin. Nightwing/Dick may be dlc though

This is a series thats dealt with the multiverse and alternate versions of characters. Death in a prequel is nowhere near as definite as it would have been under other circumstances. I do hope he is one of the characters in Fighter Pack 1

Well he is still dead in the story and comics including Injustice 2 prequel . Dick from the last game was from Earth One and none of those characters are back except a possible multiverse mode appearance or as dlc.

So there's your answer to your question

I also played on normal and the game is definetly challenging, The A.I. can do mean combos! I still beat the game though. I was Team Batman the whole time like in the last game

The thing that still makes me clench my teeth about this series is that Superman's and Batman's roles should really be reversed. But since Superman is the powerhouse he gets put in the position of ruthless dictator.

Whatever. Still a good game. 9.5/10.

Anyway, I really dig Harley's story arc in this game!

Her encounter with Wonder Woman was amusing to me. I bet it shut up all those fanboys who think Diana vs Harley is a good match up lol.

Now that think about it, alot of character's fate in story mode are up for interpretation if memory serves me right...

Well except for Grodd and Dr Fate who are undoubtedly dead.

But we don't know what happened to the likes of Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Blue Beetle, Cyborg and Robin as they seem to disappear after ch 10.

The Society also disbands off screen so we dont know if any of them are still alive (especially Cheetah and Scarecrow after their encounter with Diana).

Also Brainiac's fate is ambiguous. He's killed in Clarks ending but who knows if he's dead in Bruce's

Interesting. I played through the first game again not too long ago and felt it was more difficult than this one. I mean everyone can be beat with simple 3 hit combos and just a basic understanding of each characters traits. Which is good, story mode in fighters is by far the weakest aspect of the games and I really don't wanna put that much effort into it.

I love that the legacy characters for the most part remain the same. Being able to pick Lantern up and instantly thrash fools is awesome. Now I can focus on the new dudes.

What have you named your loadouts so far? I got two loadouts for a couple of guys so far like..

Bane - Society and Underworld Boss
Batman - Dark Knight and Defender
Green Lantern - Guardian and Sector 2814 Hero
Superman - Justice and Justice God
Deadshot - Elite Assassin and Bullet Master

I haven't beat it yet, but it looks like shell be on Supermans side, aka the Regime. But I have a feeling all that good bad stuff is going to really grey out with the arrival of Brainiac.

As for how prominent she is, it doesn't look like any one character hogs the spotlight. This isnt a Supergirl game/story,

I think I'm going to take a pass on this, though, and wait until they announce the remaining DLC characters and then wait for the inevitable Ultimate/Complete edition.

Spending $100 to get the "full game" doesn't really appeal to me.......lol.

They've already announced the first wave of DLC characters and he's not one of them. His move set from the last Injustice is in this game tho, so it shouldn't be too hard to add him.
