The Thread That Always Comes Back Around: Jai Courtney IS Captain Boomerang

yeah, I think this guy (Jai Courtney) makes the movie, along with Margot Robbie, and Leto.

I like Will Smith (Philly guy and all, I actually met DJ Jazzy Jeff years ago), but he is kind of full of himself and I hope he doesn't try to make himself bigger then what he is in the movie.... I actually kinda hope dead shot and Slip Knot are the casualties Slip Knot being obvious, and Dead Shot going at the end.... Possibly killed by Joker...

Anyway much like Guardians of the Galaxy (Not trying to compare em, just a the only other unestablished 'team movie I could think of that people really underestimated) I think this one will sneak under everyones radar because it is the misfit group, the rag tag team that doesn't fit together but comes together....... and has a ton of fun along the way.....

You're letting your personal dislike of Will Smith be the cause for your dislike of Deadshot.

Deadshot was badass in the last trailer.

I would be a shock if they killed him, I doubt they would,, but who knows. I am quite happy with his gear, they didn't dumb that down or try to make it 'real' he looks on point!!

I don't hate Will, I actually thought Concussion deserved the Oscar nod....... but I love football so seeing that movie was a must...... I just think he is a lil' high on himself and can tend to have a hard time not being 100% center stage.... it's hard to step out of the spot light, or even share it..... for some. His 'hustler / conman movie Focus with Margot Robbie actually was his best recent work so I have some hope..... cause she is awesome


It's just his work on Hancock and MiB 3 really left a bad taste in my mouth, and Hated hated hated certain rolls, some people love the Legend of Bagger Vance, I hated it, every moment with him just bothered me....

I liked the Original MiB... both sequals were meh for me..... loved his work in Bad Boys, basically at one point he was looked at as the new wise cracking Beverly Hills Cop style Eddie Murphy kind of actor, I think that kind of shoe horning is wrong by the way but that was the era, that he really broke out and came into his own.


It's just kinda strange, for some reason I got a 'bad captain America vibe' from him when he is pounding on the heavy bag ect ect..... It just felt awkward, but it doesn't look like he is going to be the focal point. I am wondering how much of his history with Batman will be explored, and if the Joker knows about it.

He's found a way to make Joel Kinnaman look badass in film (he is on tv, but hasn't translated in movies up until this point). Will Smith to look the most badass he has in years and now Jai may just steal parts of this movie.

Ayer is a legend if this movie does really well.

He got a pretty great performance out of Shia in Fury. The man knows how to work with actors.
