What's interesting is that in the "redone" version of that page by Perez in the hardcover, Freddy instead looks exactly like Captain Marvel usually does, without any of the longer hair or rope going under his armpits.

So Mary's not dead? That's cool. Marvel looks pretty cool with the hood. It seems like the Marvel colors switched from red and blue to white and red. Didn't Mary have a red costume?

I like the Trials of Shazam. I hope he doesn't go for the blue look though. The character gets pigoen-holed as a poor mans Superman already.

I liked the new issue. Achilles being a badass black guy was awesome. The war-pigs kinda stuck out, that's my only complaint.

Why can't you accept something different? The way Winick's using magic and reforming the Marvels has never been done and you just can't accept anything changing or being unique can you?
