The Wizard Shazam vs. Galactus

This is a dream match of mine that i've been sitting on for a while. It would such an interesting match to me (Raw Cosmic Power versus Vast Mystical Might!YAY!t: ). They both have "heralds"(yes I know the Marvels aren't called heralds) and they are both powerful beings in their respective universes so who wins?



Oh yah i haven't read Captain Marvel title's lately but last time I read Shazam was a POWERFUL being to say the least. I really hope they did't power him down to much before his death.

I seem to remember at least thinking that Shazam was enough of a badass to beat the Spectre when I first heard that a matchup was likely. Thusly, I felt like they did indeed power him down for his death.

I don't know enough about Galactus, but from the way Marvel fanboys talk, the ones who seem to think that every Marvel character can both defeat every other character in any fiction ever, and also not lose to any other character in any fiction ever, which is a terrible contradiction, but anyway, from what I hear from these people, Galactus can basically do anything. At all. Which makes him a pretty ****in' pointless character, if that's true.

Galactus is one of the three prime entities of the MU (Eternity, Death, Galactus) but his power level fluctuates like nobody's business.

Basically if he's recently fed then he is damn near unbeatable but the longer he goes without feeding the weaker he gets. When he's starving earth's mightiest heroes can put him down (but its by no means easy)

I have no idea what that all means in terms of a battle against Shazam

As for his heralds, I think the Silver Surfer would beat Captain Marvel pretty handily but I could be wrong

you are pretty much right Silver surfer is more powerful.

It really depends if Galactus is at full strenth or not. Hell, we've seen Dr.Strange take out a weakened Galactus before.
