The Trump Thread!!!

Have you ever seen how the press behave in the White House press room at times? Ramos was doing what journalist are taught to do which is to be heard and get your question answered. Its very likely Trump would have never called on him due to Ramos having brown skin so I cant blame Ramos for not giving Trump the opportunity to ignore him. And Trump is the very last person who needs to be calling other people out on etiquette. Trump generally behaves like a 3 year old who was raised by an inattentive nanny.

And like BN said, Ramos is the biggest most well known latino reporter in America and Trump kicked him out and told him to go back to Univision. Trump displayed a complete lack of common sense and strategy. A smart person would have answered Ramos's question and even spoke to him after the conference, because keeping Ramos in his good graces even a little could benefit him. Instead he spit in Ramos's face and scorned the latino community even more. Trump just isnt smart. He only knows how make knee-jerk reactions to everything.

Here is a good write up on who Ramos is to the spanish community and why Trump made a mistake:

While you are right on all counts about Trump, Ramos really was unprofessional about the whole thing. He became the story and that's something a true journalist avoids. I didn't see any other journalists doing what he was doing in that room. Even when he stood up when and interrupted the other reporter to ask his question and Trump asked him to sit down he could have simply said only if he will call on him next or something instead he kept shouting. It was an absolute ridiculous scene fueled by Ramos' own anger and emotions, again two things that a journalist shouldn't be driven by.

That clip of the Trump supporter made me absolutely sick to my stomach btw. I'm not surprised in the least though.

If Trump loses, he's going to use his third party treats to force the presumptive Republican nominee who ever they maybe to make him their running mate. If they don't offer him the VP spot, he'll run as a third party candidate out of spite.

I hope and pray that happens

I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Trump's but Ramos came off looking like a second-rate, self-important "advocate journalist" who had an ax to grind rather than get questions answered. Trump hadn't even gotten to the podium yet and Ramos was already badgering him, which is poor etiquette for journalists in a press conference like that. Then to interrupt the other journalists Trump did call on was just plain rude and disrespectful. Trump was actually being nice allowing Ramos back in there to ask his question but for him to act like that was the time and place to have a debate was another wrong move by Ramos.

It's Trump. This is like saying a black journalist was rude to George Wallace.

The fact that Ramos wasn't pelting him with fruit qualifies as respectful.

I see him trying to start a bidding war between the parties. The Reps. pay him to stay out, the Dems. pay him to run. Whoever goes higher basically buys the election.

Trump doesn't strike me as the type of guy who wants to be second fiddle

Would the Constitution Party be a good 3rd party for Trump to run on? They might be too socially conservatie, but Trump could overlook that, and they definitely are as Xenophobic. I'm not sure Trump opposes free trade agreements as much as the CP, but since the CP is established in many states, he would appear on many ballots with little resistance.

I'm Hispanic and my grandmother (unfortunately) watches Univision all the time and I have witnessed Jorge Ramos and several other panelists on that network flirt with anti-American views. I'm not a fan of Trump but I also know how biased Univision is as a network.

He wouldn't be second fiddle. He would go rouge like Sarah Palin during the general election and highjack his running mates message. Then if they made it into the White House Trump would basically use threats to nuke the administration from the inside to force them into doing what ever he wants them to do. He would basically become the administrations Shadow President like Cheney. The only differnces is that he wouldn't just quietly sit in the shadows. He'd be constantly hinting that he's running things from the inside.

Most Latinos on face book say Ramos came there with an agenda, and deserved being tossed out. He was allowed back in. Trump answered his questions anyway.

When the ******* is actually being an ******* to another *******, you don't mind so much.

You sound like a trusted source in the latin fb community that I should be getting my information on this subject matter from. I'm glad you have informed me of this. Can you please tell me about how many of your numerous latin fb friends are raving for Trump and planning on voting for him in the primaries? I just want to gauge it from someone on the inside of the matter that I can rely on

Guys.....is Taarna Trump in disguise?

Nah, not angry enough. The REAL Donald would have been banned weeks ago for calling us all pigs. Then he would buy the Hype and force CLee to let him take over as Supreme Mod. :o

Oh god, don't even joke about that.

I'm trying to decide whether that would be better or worse than El Mayimbe taking over. :o

If we reallllly need a rich, eccentric, businessman presidential candidate who will fix the future, forget Trump and run this guy: https://***********/AdotGif/status/637655649661362176

I also love the idea of how mad this would make Trump, and how much time he could spend trying to denounce something that so obviously wouldn't nor couldn't happen.

I watched the Palin/Trump interview. How did they manage to not focus the camera on Trump? He's completely out of focus. I'm watching a blurry image of a madman vomit slogans.

I can only speak for how this all looks to people from europe.

I spoke with many about the whole trump thing, and not one of us can actually say if the americans think this is all a super hilarious joke...or if they take this serious.

Here in germany if a politican even says half the things that Donald Trump says, he/she is gone in an instant...but this man gets interviewed and all...i dont get the joke it this is supposed to be one.

What many dont understand is that people in Europe also look over this because we are worried.
This man is not just a possible danger for america...he could be a danger for the whole world.
Men like him shouldnt be allowed to have power.

I wouldn't be concerned, he has no shot of being president. Only 25% of Republicans would vote for him, while he has his ardent supporters in the Republican party those who don't like him say they will not vote for him. Once Republican candidates start dropping out of the race (right now there are 11 or so) The remaining voters will coalesce around another candidate and Trump will be on the outside looking in. He can't win the nomination with 25% support and he is unlikely to grow much from that number.
