The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

Eclipse is my favorite of the series. And the battle should indeed be amazing.

My best friend gave me Eclipse as a gift and I am reading it right now. I must say that I hope we see a lot of Jacob/Edward interaction, Rosalie's story, and of course my favorite moment of the book so far is when Bella reveals to Jacob how long she has before she's changed.

The moment in that book is very intense and so far this book is pretty damn intense, dark, and moody.

I just hope they show some of the fight between the newborn vampires in the werewolves, rather than have Edward relay it to Bella using his psychic powers miles away hiding in a tent.

That killed the book for me. It got a little better with the Edward vs. Victoria showdown, but I felt like they spent a good part of the book looking like a battle was going to happen, and then we were left out of it.

That's one of my problems with all of the books. In Twilight, we don't see Edward and James fight, Edward tells Bella about it later.

In New Moon, we don't see Victoria, we just hear from Jacob about how they're chasing her around the woods.

In Eclipse, it builds to this army of newborns coming, and then we don't see any of it except Victoria and Riley vs. Edward.

But in the behind-the-scenes clips, it shows a bunch of people doing fight rehearsals, and it shows the newborn army entering Forks, and Ashley Greene has said the battle is the part she looked forward to the most, so it's looking like they're visualizing all of it.

Thats is what I enjoy about the movie it's not just Bella's perspective. You actually get to see what other characters are doing.

Is there only more book left to make or are there others? I ask because most of the actors are only contracted for three movies which they have already filmed. Plus Kristen and Rob don't look very enthusiastic about making any more Twilight movies.

They'll probably cut back and forth between the tent and the battle. You know, right at pivotal moments in the tent they'll cut to the battle and vice versa.

They were only contracted for three because only three existed at the time (Breaking Dawn was still being written). As far as I know their contracts have been updated. And yes, Breaking Dawn is the last one. The only way there'd be another movie is if they split it in two, which they might.

I would almost say they are waiting to see how WB 2 part HP film goes for them to decide on if ti split it. I would rather have one movie that is just a little longer then split it.

Kristen and Rob have both said they've been told to keep their schedules open for this fall. Take that how you will.

That's good. The person who loaned me the books told me that she part where Jacob and Edward are protecting her in the tent was her favorite part, so I was looking forward to that - very disappointing that it was happening during what sounded like a cool battle scene! :cmad:

And not to get too far ahead...they need to take some creative expansion on the Breaking Dawn finale while they're at it too.

Haters had best start eating some humble pie.

Looks a lot better than the first two. 0:48 reminds me of a scene from Land of the Dead, very creepy.

I'm still not entirely sold on this movie. It could be a movie where all the good bits end up in the trailer.

I have to say this looks like a decent movie based on the trailers that have come out. I just hope that the action and drama balance.

The movie looks ****ing sick so im not really concerned. Plus going into these films i do not expect the greatest flick ever but with slade at the helm i think it will be awesome. Oh and yeah im a big fan of the books. I just hope emmet kicks ass, he is my favorite.

I liked the trailer but it wasn't as good as New Moon's excellent trailer. Still this one is based off of my favorite book in the series so I'm seeing it.

Other than a few changes, this new installment seems just like the previous one basically, what's the deal with that David Slade, etc?
