I loved the Ultimate X-Men series until they started becoming all Dawson Creekish and have the Ultimates in almost every single issue. I'm still giving it a chance but come on, there has been something else out there in the Ultimate Verse.

Kirkman is capable of writing a good comic. But his Ultimate X-men hasn't been amazing. Date Night, IMO, started out strong, but it wasn't that great.

I am hoping he finds his groove with this book....

I just noticed, Jean's uniform is completely different and she's perma-fiery? Wats up with that. She looks a bit like cannonball.

Thats a really sweet cover too. Nice pencils from Raney.

I don't remember which issue, but at one point Rogue looked African-American or Puerto Rican or something (which actually looked cool, but not when she'd been super white for 60 some issues).....the artwork has been in need of some help lately.

Uh, the last issue and the cover above are clearly by two different artists, hence the change.

Someone's hair color is not a continuity break. And he was originally a strawberry blonde when he was first introduce anyway, which many people mistake for being a red head. That cover is "in continuity" as you put it.

If Colossus' hair turns into steel, THAT would be a break in continuity.

Ok. I am just saying, that if it was strawberry blonde, it should stay that color, not turn a pure red color, which it was last issue. It isn't a very big deal, but it is annoying.
