Seems like a lot of people are asking about Uluru right now.

Here's a little background info: http://forums.superherohype.com/showpost.php?p=11707615&postcount=11

Let's see if we can dig a little deeper into the myth and figure out what it means to the show here. It'll give us something to do during the offseason.

I'm starting to think that Uluru is only the tip of the iceburg. So far, we've heard mention of Uluru, the aborigional name for Ayer's Rock which, in mythology, was created when the Earth rose up as a testament to it's greif after a bloody war, and a Japanese dragon, which in Japan represented water. I'm thinking that we're going to see a few other mythical entities representing the other alchemical elements, all of them having something to do with the origin of the Heroes.

Mr. Nakamura: "your legacy [the sword] is the wind at the back of history"

Possible. I'm thinking that Uluru and the dragon will be somehow representative of the Earth's lifeforce and somehow behind the Heroes' powers. Wether or not their etherial beings or the first and most powerful Heroes, I'm not sure.

Okay, I did a smidge of research.

It appears some believe the rock Uluru is the birth of the Aboriginal belief of the Dreamtime. In the dreamtime, it is said that people exist there before their own birth, and continue to exist after their death. It is unbound by the limits of time.

Much like Charles Deveaux's ill-defined ability to share dreams with Peter.

Something to chew on.

Dreams?...remember that weird little boy in India that Mohinder was chasing around (he was annoying) but I think we might possibly see more of him in season 2

just found this:

Brian Summer once again had an interesting thought about Peter's powers, and which one came first. "I've often thought the first ability that Peter picked up was the ability to communicate in dreamtime, a rather common ability of Australian aborigines. This would explain why his lucid dreams, like his brother flying, started about the same time he started taking care of Mr. Roundtree (AKA Charles Deveaux), who many have suspected had abilities of his own." Interesting theory there, Brian, with an interesting thought about Charles Deveaux's own abilities. Guys, will we be learning more about Peter's "first time" before season's end?

Yes. And Brian, did we tell you how much we love you. You are paying close attention to all the clues. All of you Uluru theorists should listen to Brian. And Brian… if we find that you've put listening devices in our office, we will revoke our love.

Does Uluru actually have anything at all to do with Heroes? i mean is all this stuff just based on the painting of Uluru or is it actually mentioned that Uluru has some part in the story? I just had a thought. I remember reading somewhere that there were ancient Aboriginal tribes found who only had 21 pairs of chromosomes as all others humans on the face of the earth have 22. What im getting at is that maybe either Uluru or all the heroes supposedly being the next step in human evolution have 23 pairs of chromosome. Just a thought.

Uluru resembles the Beast from Angel tv series, they kinda of lookalike. The beast who worked for jasmine

you know...the earth rose up in grief at the bloodshed, becoming Uluṟu. one story tells of Uluru being the center of a major battle of the Ancient Spirits.

could it be that Uluru was born again from this recent major battle? two forces - Linderman group versus current generation, and Sylar versus Peter. blood was shed (Sylar and perhaps Pete and Nathan)...
