This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]362105[/split]
In terms of money vs art thing I believe it depends on the person.
Some people are happy to do something they love and get paid just enough to get by while some people will do things they hate just to get bigger paychecks.
Yeah, pretty much what I was saying in regards to art. And the latter of that would be the modern definition of a hack. Kind of what all of this started as anyway, though I guess now it's transformed into just working in general now.In terms of money vs art thing I believe it depends on the person.

Having grown up a only child who pretty much always got what he wanted money and material wealth has never been a large motivation for meeveryone has their motivation....having grown up poor, Ill take the bigger paycheck any day....I couldn't afford dreams, just hoped to keep the rent paid

My general hope is to be able to get by financially. Maybe a little here and there for luxury stuff, but I've never really had much desire to be rich. I'm actually kind of terrified of it, especially when you see what kind of effect it has on those who get wealthy. The only thing I would want money for is traveling, and you actually don't need to be filthy rich for that kind of stuff. I know someone in college who travels quite a lot. She's as broke as a joke most of the time, but she's still doing it.
Sure Terra Nova looks like it'll suck, but it'd be doomed even if it was a good show. Fox would skip its first episode, change its time slot at least twice, and fail to mention what night it comes on in any of their promos.
Pretty much.
That's what killed Human Target.
You live in Europe. You could take the train and be abroad in an hour.
We're a bit land locked over here.
I want to see the Inbertweeners movie. Probably check it out this week with me matesDo any of you watch The Inbetweeners?
that and the 30 percent gradual drop in viewership over the course of the second season even though they had it on Wednesday nights (which is a night with very little competition)
I loved the show, but it shouldn't have been on network TV
