Speaking of movies has anyone seen the new Fright Night movie

David Tennant is in it but there is a depressing lack of time travel

Other than that I thought it was rather fun if not all that great and pretty spooky in places. I dug it

Roller derby is pretty fun

I first heard about it thanks to BlackLantern and the movie Whip It and sincr then I've gotten into it

I love Roller Derby! I go to as many bouts as possible.

And Whip It is a very good movie.

Whip It is a decent place to start....but go out and support your local league....the girls buy all their own gear and pay for their own travel

Quite a few, I don't think I've actually kept track. I usually go with a few friends, each of us have favorite teams and we generally have friendly competition for them. It's a ton of fun and we know a few of the women on the teams. One's actually the DA of a local town, makes it quite amusing...

Its really neat that you can go and see them nice and locally and that you've got friends who are fans too
