Alright fellas (and ladies now, woohoo!). The first [and second and third and forth and fifth] lounge has gone on long enough. Sometimes you want to go [again] where everyone [still] knows your username, ya' know? I figure we, the proud posters of the DC Comics boards (and some stragglers), possibly one of the tightest cliques on these forums [still] deserve the right to lounge. I mean, who else has ASSHAT? (am i [still] allowed to say that?)

Now we all [sort of] remember the catastrophe that was the Darth&Leaguer threads, and their unjust closings, and the glory that was the Original unOFFICIAL DC Boards Lounge [and unORIGINAL and unDISPUTED and unPREDICTABLE], but we have the opportunity and right to talk [again] now about whatever is in our heads, unless it involves shoving things up a monkey's ass (or torrents), but that's neither here nor there. Also, we can't talk about rape, but we are free to taffy all we want.

It appears we only get 1000 posts a thread now, so make them good.

Africa United Is actully like an African Slumdog Millionaire its an upbeat movie.

You should watch the British/Canadian John Simm 'Sex Traffic' Tv Drama movie good thats depressing. Eastern European girls tricked into being told they will get jobs in Britain and then sold into sexual slavery where they are beaten, raped and forced into getting addicted to heroin

Then there is BBC show Waking The Dead which is CSI meets Law & Order meets Se7en. Grim gritty British depressive detective shows don't get any badder than this. Have to have a shoot of wishky after watching that show just to burn away the soul destroying grimness.

Human Trafficing pretty much has the same thing....one girl in the Ukraine and her friend go to a "modeling" agency, where they are told they will be models for a summer, then one gets packed off to America where there is slapping around

another girl gets tricked into following her new boyfriend to Vienna, where he takes her passport and delivers her to Russian guys, who have a basement full of "prisoners"

Yeah its grim but people call it a feel good movie because the hero wins in the end. Danny Boyle loves his whole triumph over adversity optimism thing
