I'm just saying the major means by which Jeff Parker made him interesting was having Thor wreck his ****, hard, no joke, and make it clear that he deserved it, and then had him not in any way pretend that he didn't deserve it.

Basically all of the things they should have done to make Tony Stark interesting again, instead of the boring *****e who comes up with an excuse to mindwipe himself any time he might have to feel bad about something or learn not to be a stupid *******.

Loeb had Thor wreck Rulk too. People just ignore that because of the stupid zero-gravity hammer incident.

It's fine by me. I like the other Asgardians too, and I've been wanting to see some more stuff with them. Maybe Gillen will even bring in some of the ancillary characters, like Tarene and Thunderstrike. I hate how segregated Thor's supporting cast tends to be.

A newly resurrected Zeus. All because the Hulk basically called him a ***** when Hera suggested Zeus just fry the Hulk with lightning. Zeus was like, "Nuh-uh," and then he proceeded to prove it by pummeling the Hulk into a Hulk-shaped mass of jelly.

Paul Pelletier drew it, too. I love his art. You might want to pick up the previous issue as well for the full story, but the Zeus beatdown is all in this week's issue.
