Well yeah, but Tottenham essentially just wanted the land the stadium is being built on. Other than China, all those Olympic Stadiums are still standing today.

Exactly. West Ham's bid was a lot more lucrative because they would keep the running track and also I think they're going to put money into Crystal Palace.

Especially if they convince the other countries to make a Great Britain super team. It would be mostly English players though.

You also have to factor in that almost universally, Tottenham fans were opposed to a move to the opposite side of London.

I can't understand why the Scottish and Welsh FA won't let their players join up in an Olympic soccer team. Britain come comes together in other sports like British and Irish Rugby Lions team.

I think they may be embarassed most of their players would not make the team. I would look like to see a Scottish manager manage a Olympics team.

I think its a full internation tournament. Britain has had a team since 1947 though

Most of the Olympic stadiums are being used for Olympic events. Track and Field and all that. Some up until fairly recently were being used for sports.
