I wasn't aware I owed you any

Oh no, you don't, but you've been particularly dodgy when this has come up before about All Star, or just any Grant Morrison stuff really. Like when you said you didn't like him because he made everyone into misanthropic *******s, and I asked you what you meant, and you never really answered. Or when you said the adaptations of his work is always much better than his actual work, when there's almost no real adaptation of his work past All Star. Just kind of stuff like you that :yay:

I don't either. I just can't think of anything in which something called a "Black Zoid" would be epic. :)

Heh.

if I didn't like the story, why would I bother to buy a DTV of said story?

my answer would be the same if there was going to be a DTV of any other story I didn't like

Misanthropic? Adaptations tend to better?

Are you sure you weren't talking about Mark Millar?

No, you are totally right, and I agree with that. Really didn't have anything to do with what I was saying, but no, you really shouldn't feel any need to pick up an adaptation of something you didn't enjoy

Maybe British people all look the same to BL?

it has nothing to do with him being British, just haven't liked anything Ive read by him, other than his brief run on The Authority

Okay, now I'm convinced you mean Mark Millar. Morrison's run on The Authority was like 2 issues long.

Nah, it was only 2. They restarted it later with another writer and only the first two were his scripted issues. I think it was called The Lost Years or something like that

Blant-Man, do you remember a teenage Jenny Quantum, The Authority being stuck in a low-energy universe where their powers don't work, and there are comic books featuring their past adventures? Because that's literally all that happened in Morrison's 2 issues.

I could go all xenophobic and be like grrrrr only Americans should be writing Superman :argh:

Seven Soldiers, Arkham Asylum and a couple guest issues of Hellblazer are the only things of Morrisons I really like.

His Batman stuffs been hit and miss for me and I'm one of the few people who hated his X-Men run.

That said I would like to see his BBC Scottish sci-fi/fantasy series Bonnyroad

I didn't know he was in The My Chemical Romance video until the other day

not at all

the only times Ive enjoyed Superman recently is in Batman/Superman....stuff like Public Enemies, The Search for Kryptonite, even Absolute Power

Oh, dear lord. Well, mystery solved: you hate All-Star Superman because you only like really, really s***ty Superman comics. :csad:

well that's just like your opinion man, there is a thing in Search for Krpytonite that I really liked

Batman is talking about how all the other heroes are totally willing to give up their free time and help, trying to get in good with Superman but Clark would never see it that way

I watched the 90s X-Men cartoon for the first time in years this morning and it was totally one of those not as good as you remember it moments from your childhood.

The guy doing Sunfires voice did whats considered by todays standards a really poor racial stereotype of a Asian accent. Also the guy doing the voice for the blob has to be one of the worst voice actors ever

some of those cartoons have not aged well....the 90's Iron Man and FF toons especially

Yeah, that, the Spidey and Iron Man shows from the '90s are pretty bad. It's like as well as the DCAU shows aged, those rotted ten times more.
