i remember the first time i saw rudy. thankfully i was alone

no sports movie will ever be better than the replacements though. you take the best parts of hoosiers, mix them with the best parts (except paul newman) of slapshot, make it about football and you produce a juggernaut
It was a Necessary Roughness knock-off taken to pro-football rather than college and it didn't have Hector Elizondo...

Also one of the few films where Rob Schneider is bareable...

Now let's analyze... what's been working for us...

...Not a God damn thing's been working for us!

this goddamn suit doesn't work for me... and this stinking tie... and this goddamned shirt. YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY WINNING HARD-NOSED FOOTBALL? YOU PLAY FOOTBALL THE WAY THE GENERRO PLAYED FOOTBALL! The guy who gave his life for this football team... He was a 140-pound halfback, and HE PLAYED LIKE A GODDAMN WILDMAN! NO! LIKE A GODDAMN, RAMPAGING BEAST! And that's the way you got to do it! YOU GO OUT THERE! YOU RIP THEIR F***ING HEADS OFF, AND THEN YOU S*** DOWN THEIR NECKS! ...Let us pray.

and they prayed....Scott Bakula has a lifetime pass from me for that movie and Quantum Leap

he could kill a hooker in the middle of the street and Id still back him up

Just started JLU and i remembered why i started to pick up Green Arrow books (from the first episode).

Green Arrow pretty much steals every episode he's in....especially love him in "To Another Shore" in season two

I had no prior knowledge of The Question before JLU. Vic Sage was amazing. All his theories were hilarious.

Beats the hell out of Keanu that's for sure...

Wait, we're totally forgetting the one sports movie that makes every man in the world it's *****, Rudy. That movie is like "Cry *****, cry!"

Every once in a while, someone will make a joke about Rudy, or otherwise try to talk **** about it, and pretty much what happens is, that person looks like an idiot.

e: It's like talking **** about Calvin and Hobbes, but for movies instead of newspaper comic strips.

His theory about ice cream made me :lmao:

I prefer Renee as the Question in the comic books but i loves Vic in JLU

It is all true :ninja:

I prefer Vic in the books too...

Still loved the character in JLU though. May have been the best in a series of awesome characters.

Thor Tales of Asgard coming this May:
http://dvd.ign.com/articles/115/1151624p1.html

Lol such a cheesy tagline "before the hammer came the sword!". I'd love to see the prequel: "before the sword came breast feeding!" Still fantastic to see this finally coming out! <3 Day 1 purchase easily. =)

And yeah i loved Vic Sage in JL/JLU aswell, he was also pretty god-like in Brave and Bold, taking down Darkseid's army all by himself.

There's a Vic Sage BATB episode???

Why am I only hearing this now?

Nah it's not really a Vic Sage episode, he just concludes the Justice League International plot. He was in 2 teasers and at the conclusion of JLI episode. They might give a proper episode for him in season 3, but it seems now that they know they're going to end the show after 65 episodes, they're just going to make the craziest episodes they can. Final episode is suppose to be the craziest ever.

Has any of Marvel's recent DTVs been worth anything at all? Never seen them myself, but it seems like I never hear anything but mediocre things about them.

Hulk vs. and Planet Hulk we're awesome, i never saw the Iron Man, Dr. Strange nor the Next Avengers tho. Are Iron Man and the Dr. Strange one any good guys?

Hulk vs. was f***ing terrible, but Planet Hulk was all right. Dr. Strange was pretty meh, and it took JMS' Matrix-style approach to Strange, which was as stupid in the movie as it was in the comic. I vaguely recall Iron Man being decent.

So, in short, no, none of the Marvel DTVs are really worth watching. I'm fairly certain Tales of Asgard (which should really be titled Son of Asgard, since that what it's based on and Tales of Asgard is something entirely different) is going to suck too, but I'm gonna get it anyway. That tagline really is stupid, though. The sword wasn't even anything important, it was just a handy weapon before Thor proved himself worthy of Mjolnir.

Man you only think Hulk vs. was terrible due to Thor getting his ass kicked. >: )

Anyone seen Legolambs movie musicals on Youtube. Funny stuff!

My favourties are Predator, Terminator 2 and Schiendlers List
