Agreed. Especially with his new costume and screwdriver.

And can we talk about Captain Jack's fall into madness in Children of Earth for a moment? How can he ever find redemption after that ****?

We will know soon enough Womp tge new series of Torchwood starts this year

Jack did not have many options when he did what he did too

Trying not to spoil the ending for Lix who still needs to watch Torchwood

The 8th Doctor is awesome. I just finished his entire catalogue of audio episodes like a week ago.

True 'dat

And Charley is :awesome: sauce on toast one of my favouritest companions evers

My favourite companions are Izzy Sinclair Charley Romana Donna Noble Sarah Jane Smith and Amy Pond  :hrt:

Commas, Mysti. I don't know if "Izzy Sinclair" is one or two people.

I actully thought Barrowmans acting in Children Of Earth was his best yet. Torchwood has toned down more of the wacky stuff and got darker I wonder if it will continue with the new season Miracle Day later this year on Starz/BBC.

Miracle Day sounds like it will be even darker than the last series

Yep Eve Myles John Barrowman and the actor who played Gwen's husband will all be back in Miracle Day

Did you like her Womp

Gwen, Rhys and Jack are the only ones left alive from the previous seasons anyway

Martha should come back and bring Mickey with her. They hinted at that during DW's series 4 finale, and Martha was mentioned during Children of Earth.

I think Noel Clark would be up for guest returning when his not directing his movies in which he hangs with Kevin Smith and hits on Eric Roberts daughter.

Freema seems to of moved on and seems more intrested in starring in sucky Law & Order London.

I like Law & Order: UK, though I admit it's partially because I get a kick out of the white wigs everyone wears to court.

That would be fun on a bun I loves Martha and Mickey :atp:

Why the heck were they
married in The End of Time

I really want to say something that'd humorously imply that Russell T. Davies is racist, but the man cast too many minorities and created too many interracial couples on Doctor Who/Torchwood for me to say that. I didn't even know you had more than 5 non-white people in the UK before he started casting those shows.

I like that Martha and Mickey got married. I don't care what anyone says.

They'd never spoken to one another on screen before we found out they got married. They met in "Journey's End," barely acknowledged each others existence by the end of the episode, and then they came back 5 episodes later as a married couple.

A couple of people suffering from some of that old fashioned unrequited love find love with one another. It fits. Also, they're black.

It's bizzare how easily a bunch of guys from the late 90s can drop into a Backstreet Boys song when just one guy says "Everay-boday!".

I remember being vehemently against BSB back in my "rocker" days.

Well that's random. Speaking of random. If you won the lotto, how would you quit your job? I think I'd take a big s**t on my bosses desk. :o

No, I wouldn't. My dad won our equivalent of the lotto once and pissed away his money on bad buying and failed business ventures. Easy come, easy go. I've how quickly rich men become poor men. Working for a living counts.

My family was well to do. Middle to High income family but my father's philandering and business failures left us reeling. Now we're middle going on low income, essentially making me a breadwinner.

Try saying "Tell me why-ee" and see how many people launch into "I Want It That Way." It's insane how many dudes used to swear they hated BSB back in the 90's, but secretly knew the words to their songs. NSync, too.

My friends from high school knew I listened to whatever pop crap was playing on the radio and dominated MTV, but I was utterly shocked when we got into a karaoke battle using boy band songs and they already knew the words. Some of them swore by their hatred of boy bands right up until all the bands broke up.

--EDIT--
I should note, we didn't battle each other in karaoke. We used NSync songs to battle another group of people who kept singing BSB songs.
