Other day I saw this on DVD I loved every minute of the movie, cast were amazing specially Robert De Niro as Al Capone and best cast since Marlon Brando as Don Calone (sp?) Sean Connery was amazing as always.

9/10 I give it, the only think I didn't like when Malone (Connery) gets shot.

What do you think?

I don't think it's the Best Movie (as in ever), but its pretty darn great.:up: 8.5/10

Damn, I forgot to type "one of the best movies":(

I own it on dvd too! I've always enjoyed this movie. It's one of Costners few that I actually like, and De Niro as Capone is just great! And as always, Sean Connery is absolutely great, a scene stealer.

is a great movie, but not necessarily the best movie.

"You wanna know how you do it? Here's how, they pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way, and that's how you get Capone!"

"I want this guy dead! I want his family dead! I want his house burned to the ground! I want to go there in the middle of the night and piss on his ashes!"

Just having Connery and De Niro in the same movie makes it great. Awesome, awesome movie. Not the best, but a masterpiece.

No, it's not The Best Movie but it's really great.

It´s one of the few movies I watch whenever it´s playing on TV.

This is one of the few movies (maybe the only movie) that I can tolerate Kevin Costner in. Like ultimatefan said, whenever it's on TV I can't turn away from it. Not too long ago it was coming on AMC all the time and I must have watched it 5+ times in the same month lol.

One of those films where, every ten minutes, I'm saying "THIS is the best scene in the movie!!"

The raid, the Horse riding shoot out, the dinner, the elevator, THE MOTHER ****ING TRAIN STATION!

I love this movie. Sean Connery so mature and fantastic, the only Kevin Costner film I like. DeNiro never disappoints.

Yeah, it's Don Corleone lol Back on topic. It was a pretty good movie, not one of my favorites, but entertaining. Sean Connery was the best part of it :)

It's kinda meh actually. Connery and DeNiro are great as usual but the rest is lacking something. I'm not sure what, it's not the direction... Costner is god awful in this.

Wouldn't call it THE best, but a damn good movie, nonetheless.

"What are you prepared to do???!!!"

Yeah, I know. Actually, I watched the film last night partly because of this thread.

I voted "Maybe" because it's great, but not the best.

I've seen it a lot of times. My personal favorite scene is where Ness throws Frank Nitti off the roof.

"Did he sound like that?!"

Awesome moment.

You start to think Costner will do the 'right' thing and just turn him in then .....

Love it.

Yeah, the film has so many great scenes. De Palma's best after Scarface.
