Miles Teller in ‘The Offer’ | The Making of ‘The Godfather’

Sorry, the source he was unvaccinated was a sleazy British tabloid. Excuse me if I'm not quick to believe it.

That wiggle room has resulted in a number of productions descending into chaos, as was the case on Paramount+’s The Offer, which shut down production in late July due to a Zone A COVID-19 positive. That positive person was publicly identified as a series star who was said to be unvaccinated. Sources tell THRthat the stoppage resulted in a $6 million loss for the limited series about the making of The Godfather. (A Paramount+ rep counters that the figure was below $6 million.)

Juno Temple Talks New Series About the Making of The Godfather - Variety

Juno Temple didn’t have to travel far to attend Neiman Marcus’ recent holiday campaign launch on the Paramount lot — she’s been there shooting “The Offer,” Paramount Plus’ limited series about the making of “The Godfather.” “I literally had a freakout that was very vocal,” the Emmy-nominated “Ted Lasso” star recalls of her first time driving through the Paramount gates on Melrose Avenue. “This is one of the most glamorous and historic studios. And then I’m walking onto sets that are re-creating ‘The Godfather’ sets. I was like, ‘What is happening?’” While we may know some of the film’s backstory, Temple, who plays producer Al Ruddy’s assistant Bettye McCartt, teases that more will be revealed: “It got dangerous. Scary **** went down.”

The movie also has a message, Temple says. “I think what will come out is, ‘Fight for things that you’re passionate about because they turn out better,’” she explains. “It’s just like how hard they had to fight to make this movie the way they wanted to, like Francis Ford Coppola fighting for these certain actors that didn’t mean anything or were not considered valuable at that point. He fought tooth and nail for it. And the producers who went through hell to get it made? Guess what? It’s one of the greatest movies of all time.”

For what it's worth...

From a (since deleted?) Tweet:

"Hey guys, I don’t usually feel the need to address rumors on here but I am vaccinated and have been for a while. The only thing I’m anti is hate."

Even though I don't like Teller, I'm still gonna check this out.

I completely forgot that this dropped today. First three episodes are up but I'm probably not getting around to it until the weekend since this has been a really packed week for shows.

Sad to see the reviews have been terrible.

Sounds like it should've just been a movie.

I'm not that surprised. The other project with Oscar Isaac as Coppola and Jake Gyllenhaal as Robert Evans sounds more promising anyway, and that one is just a movie.
