Cast The Dark Knight Trilogy in the 70's

    The title says it all. Make your own cast for The Dark Knight Trilogy if it was made in the 1970's. Now, I know that there are alot of elements to the film that would have not been possible 40 years ago, but let's suspend our imagination a bit (as well as the fact that some characters did not exist yet). Let's go with Batman Begins in 1973, The Dark Knight in 1976, and The Dark Knight Rises in 1980.

    I'll Start:

    Earle: Jack Warden

    The Joker: Al Pacino

    Harvey Dent: Martin Sheen

    I really wished this casting would have happened. He would have been as perfect as Christopher Reeves as Superman.

    I don't know it's kind of hard picturing a Batman film in the 70's especially early to mid-70's when clothing styles were drastically uncool.

    Sometimes I'll watch Superman The Movie and the fashion is blatantly obvious, we don't need pimps saying "Say Jim!"

    I'm picturing Steve McQueen as Harvey Dent, I can tell you that much.

    Or maybe as Jim Gordon. Frank Bullitt reminds me of Gordon. Slap a mustache and glasses on him.

    Nice job Eddie. I originally had Cazale as The Joker myself (with Pacino as Harvey Dent), but ended up switching him to Scarecrow.

    Anybody got feedback on my cast?
