just saw it last nite and all i can say is HOLY ****BALLS BATMAN the movie was excellent from start to finish definately one for the ages

the movie was aight...but the "purpose" of the whole thing needed to be a little more explained. the back story had enough to get the people to knida know whats going one but i thought it needed just a little more. the acting was so-so..except Shia had a couple of scenes where i thought he could have done better. the "robots" voices, it was kinda mehh...but were not that bad, i didn't like the whole "hip" talk but some parts were pretty funny the action...it was ok, yet it looked really cartoonish and the robots were too BRIGHT...mainly Optimus Prime...to many solid colors that were too bright the CGI could have been better, don't get me wrong the CGI was great but i thought it could have been done better, and they hardly show any of the fights...we know they're happening but we don't see most of it instead they cut to the humans...the story i think wasn't strong, they focused more on the action, don't get me wrong the action is nice but i need good stories! and better character development for humans and robots lol (im not that much of a movie critic, but id like to haha)

this is an ok intoductory movie for future sequels heck maybe even prequels, theres no doubt that the faithful TRANSFORMERS fans will love the film, and it looks like SOME of the general public will too. great action movie, lacks on story development, and character development but otherwise, the action is whats gonna bank it but i dunno i don't think the movie as a WHOLE wasn't as good as people make it seem...

I give it an 6/10

I think I missed something. Too much Jack Daniels for me maybe. Or too much Ganja for him which made him like it. I dunno. Something's amiss tho.

I just want to see it again to see what I missed. Bay's psycho editing in the end just made me dizzy, so I had trouble keeping up with half of it. Plus the huge ass crowd was so pumped and loud, I missed half of what Prime said cause they exploded everytime he talked.

The thing I loved the most about the movie was how I was entertained throughout...regardless of whether or not there were any Autobots or Decepticons on screen.

Coming in, I expected the movie to drag its feet whenever if the TF wearn't on screen, but the humor and Shia kept me engaged throughout.

It wasn't my best Movie experience (that still goes to X2) but its definately #2.

Great Bay movie, but still a Bay movie. It was fun, awesome and funny. But some of the plot holes are really jarring and some of the humor is cringeworthy upon second viewing.

It is true to the Transformers name being an overblown but awesome commercial. Which is more or less what it has always been, or the very least what it started out being.

hopefully a sequel will make it more than this. But the movie was still really cool and enjoyable.

Not the be all end all of Summer action pics though, like some people are making it out to be. But the Special Effects praise is definetly warranted. No competition for the oscar this year.

Goes to show that Peter Cullen transcends the boob tube just by talking even to this day.

I LOVED the film, infact everyone in the theatre did, it ended to a standing ovation.

I didnt have any big hopes for it to be like the cartoon so I thought it was great.

The acting was good, the comedy was great and the action was great.
