How would have Michael Clark Duncan added to the cheese?

It wouldn't have but dane Cook would have. MCD wouldn have given more ammunition to the haters of this film; he's a one dimensional, lousy actor imo.

Saw it cant sleep on it. This is what I've been waiting all summer for. BEST FREAKING MOVIE THIS SUMMER!!!! Hands down. This is how you make a crowd pleaser people. I'm sorry but Transformers makes Spider-Man 3 Seem like sh1t in comparison. Shia Lebouf is waaaaaaaay more of a Peter Parker than Maguire could ever be. He's a great actor man. Megan Fox proved herself aswell. Honestly every actor gets a standing ovation with me. Tyrese, Duhamel, Rachel Taylor, and the most humurous Anthony Anderson all had kick ass parts. Peter Cullens voice was so commanding and brought Optimus Prime to life. Hugo as Megatron was very intimidating and scary. The special FX are the best I've seen. Great damn movie folks..............GO SEE IT NOW!!!!!

I agree. I liked this better the SM3. It was so boring and dragged on forever. transformers kept me entertained and into the movie!

Like I mentioned before, the Spielberg influences in this movie were Bumblebee, Frenzy, and the mom making all those goofy remarks. Frenzy had to be a Spielberg creation, what with the manic ADD persona and weird yammering in the native tongue. He even broke the fourth wall once and looked directly into the camera.

So you're saying that Frenzy is Spielberg's Jar Jar.

8/10. Absolutely loved it. This movie fired on all cylinders, and hit far more often than it missed. A very entertaining blend of serious adventure and cheesy science fiction, with a touch of human comedy. Whoever said this film lacks "wonder" or imagination can blow it out their ass. That it has in spades.

The story itself has enough twists and relevancy not to disappoint. Optimus Prime's character and presentation is almost note perfect, from his heart of a warrior to his realization that some conflicts and their reaction to it must be different on Earth. The compassionate, wise warrior leader to a T. Megatron was his destructive, power-hungry, totally evil self. Even Ironhide, Ratchet and Jazz had distinct characters, if only for a little while. Bumblee was fantastic. Nice little "homage" to his Volkswagen form in the car lot there. I'm sure that pissed off many a fan.

Almost everything with Sam works well, no doubt due to Shia Lebouf's handling of the material, which isn't bad to begin with. Megan Fox is attractive and energetic, if not much of an actress. The supporting cast doesn't disappoint, and Sector 7 was a nice, quirky twist on an old concept. Absolutely loved Frenzy.

The action was fantastic, the comedy worked surprisingly well, and the rendering of the Transformers themselves...wow. Most of what I've loved about the Transformers concept over the years was found in the film. Now we can look forward to a sequel with a larger leadership role for Starscream, the return/evolution of Megatron, and more Autobots from space, possibly in an Ark of some kind? I wonder if the whole "natural resources" thing will come into play, now that The Allspark has been destroyed? Maybe we'll see the Autobot's build themselves a base, and the evolution of Sam as their human contact.

My only complaint is that in places, the score is heavily reminscint of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN and BATMAN BEGINS. But hey, it worked.

On my third viewing there were 2 "die-hard" fans sitting next to me. Both wearing T-Shirts with the Autobot and Decepticon logo on it. From start to finish they were nagging about there NOT being enough action in this movie. I lol'd at that.

They were actually saying : "God I hate this Gary Chalk voiceover!"

here here guard..... proof u dont need to have a low IQ to enjoy this film.

That's some really strong logic there.

I'm with you on this one Darth. I don usually get mad at adaptations but being a fan of TMNT the comic book and then seeing the movie I was pretty upset.

With the exception of the sissified Casey Jones (Crying Wolverine in X2 reminded me of this movie), I thought that movie was darn near perfect as an adaptation.

I would rate the film a 9 out of 10,everything was better than what i had thought it would be.The Autobots and Decepticons looked fantastic, and the story of the film was great.

Did anyone sit through the entire end credits. I want to know if the voice actors where listed seperately from the human cast, or were they mixed in with the human casts names..?

After the last human actor credit, they start with the "voice of" credits.

Thanks! Personally i would have put the 'voice's credit first....

I stayed just to see if Megatron really was voiced by Hugo Weaving...it really didn't sound like him. A true testament to his acting abilities...

Just saw this today, enjoyed it alot.Very fun film and it seemed to hit all the right chords with the crowd I saw this with.

My ranking 8/10

Most of the time both end up liking what I go see hehehehehe. They liked all 3 X-men. They thought F4 1 was crap :woot: They liked Harry potter but cussed me out for taking them to see Elektra lol

someone help me out please.

I got lost again keeping up with the Decepticons in the final battle!

StarScream...I know him.

Devastator got beheaded by Prime right??

Barricade got taken out by the AutoBots and humans. He was the Helicoptor right??

8/10
That was a entertaining movie. Kind of was expecting more of a fight between Optimus and Megatron, but it was the first movie afterall. I loved the Megatron flicking the person into a car part, nice little detail there.

OK I forgot blackout. I can keep up with the AutoBots but not the Decepticons. To a point them things just would stay down.

O and this time I went and some people in the audience applauded after Optimus Prime introduced himself to Sam. I thought that was kewl I never saw anything like that in the theater before.

I have a question Did anyone else notice on their first veiwing that on Barricade's Police Car that The slogan written on the side of The car with The Decepticon symbol said "To punish and enslave" instead of The real police slogan "To Protect and Serve" ? :trans:
