Venture Bros Movie That Continues Where The Series Left Off In Works.

Three popular Adult Swim series are getting a feature take: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse and The Venture Bros.

Rather than send the movies straight to Adult Swim’s sister HBO Max immediately, the pics will get a release worldwide on Blu-ray/DVD and PVOD and electronic-sell-through (EST) with a 90-day exclusive window before hitting the streaming service and Adult Swim.

All three of the series were some of the first original productions to air on Adult Swim.
In the The Venture Bros. movie, Doc’s latest invention will either bankrupt the Ventures or launch them to new heights, as Hank searches for himself, Dean searches for Hank, The Monarch searches for answers, and a mysterious woman from their pasts threatens to bring their entire world crashing down on them.

That was kind of my issue with the show. It was sort of spinning its wheels.

It was also difficult to start watching a new season every time after such a long break. I always already forgot about half of the stuff that happened. It felt like you had to do a rewatch to be able to really enjoy the show. You can't just jump in. That must have hurt them with (new) viewers.

It was a great series but it was terribly paced out. Six seasons over the course of 15 years or something close to that.

Well this confirms that this will be a series finale special and not one that will lead to a new season. I think we all figured this would be it and I’m grateful that we’re getting a conclusion to the series.

Yeah, it's time to end the story to be honest. I'd rather they go out with a big finish than continue on because the story was starting to drag.
