He should definitely be in the movie so he deserves a thread of his own.

He totally doesn't deserve a thread, because he doesn't deserve to be in the movie. Cyborg was a pure AA addition to the post-52 reboot, and has been a member for less than a year of real world time. What's more, he's even more of a ridiculous addition, because if you want a technical genius or an affirmative action member, the JLA already *has* one: Steel. Who was a member of the JLA for far longer, and during far better written periods.

Agree to disagree with you metaphysician.
Signs are pointing to Cyborg going on the big screen.
From being a member in Justice League attraction ride in WB Movie World in aussie

He never said Cyborg wouldn't be in it.He said Cyborg shouldn't be in it.

To a role in Justice League Doom.

A role in which he was a junior to J'onn, who is an actual founding member of the League:

It's WB's film division that bosses around DC, not the other way around. Generally, they leave each other be, hence why when The Dark Knight came out, Bruce Wayne was dead. Bane has regressed into a roid junkie entirely dissimilar to The Dark Knight Rises. Ra's Al Ghul is still immortal. Robin is Batman's actual son, also the most recent in a line of four, not a cop. And I know Joker was avoided in Dark Knight Rises, but now, he doesn't actually have a face at all. Green Lantern's feature film had little to do with Green Lantern: Secret Origin, with a Parallactus cloud Guardian and Superman Returns did not turn Superman into a Lois Lane stalker, and still from Mark Waid's Krypton, with Lex as a business man.

Last I recall Martian Manhunter did not have a bust

Seems like this is gonna be the new tiff going on between posters for a WB DC movie. :oldrazz:

TEAM CYBORG! :awesome:

I do like the black in the armor from JL: Doom. He still shouldn't be a major component of the movie for the first go-around if at all.

Team J'onn "Martian Manhunter" J'onzz FTW.

I think that Cyborg might be included in a JL movie because he fills two roles. He's the black guy, and he has abilities similar to Iron Man. I'm sure WB knows how much people love Iron Man, and will want to have someone similar.

Someone mentioned Steel being apart of the JL instead of Cyborg. That's a great idea. I wish DC would have done that for the new 52 and I hope WB does it for the movie.

**** Steel(disliked him before the horrible movie). Now that's a lame character that shouldn't be brought to the screen again.

I'm cool with Cyborg being in the movie. He could be an awesome character visually. As long as they use the current design of his costume and not the original version where he wore tighty-whiteys.

Part of me wants the ROBOCOP remake to fail miserably so I don't have to see Cyborg in the JUSTICE LEAGUE film.

The league has a technical expert in Batman. Cyborg is an awkward, forced addition. The fact that he could work doesn't mean he should be in the film ahead of other, far more deserving and well suited characters.

The horrible movie was a bad representation of the character. I think he'd be cool to see in a JL movie. I seriously doubt that he'll be included, though.

Steel has a better chance of showing up in a Superman movie.

This, pretty much.

Funny how the pro-Martian Manhunter posters come in here to detract the character of Cyborg, yet none of the pro-Cyborg pollute their thread. :o:whatever:

I wish Cyborg would throw a flaming football at Martian Manhunters head.

Yesterday in the MM thread.

Yeah..he's an alien invasion waiting to happen, an attempted spotlight stealer, Mr. Monotone who relates to each member of the League? Big whoop.

Who needs some alien as a 7th member who stands there feeling all warm & fuzzy now because he can relate to each hero from earth. While he makes it completely impossible for any villain to cause any damage because he's so damn powerful with all his powers...

And I guess Martian Manhunter wont be celebrating their victory with his fellow League members, when they decide to drink some beers and toast some marshmellows over a nice cozy fire...

Panzy.

Thats cuz im awesome. No, im not "pro-Cyborg", im just not on team J'onn.

I honestly rather have black canary hawkgirl or green arrow. Anyone would be better than mm.

but since cyborg has been so cool lately and the only sensible choice, then i choose cyborg over mm

Id rather Cyborg at this point but im on team neither. I would prefer 5 or 6 of the main staples of the group over them two.

We already have a "Green" something in our group. One is enough for the movies. And between Green Arrow & Black Canary...it's gonna look like a Hawkeye/BW rip-off. Anything with "hawk" in it will also seem like a rip. So no Hawkgirl/Hawkman. You have to think of the general public with this stuff too. A movie audience is a little different.

Martian Manhunter *is* a main staple of the group. You don't get much more staple than "Founding member, and member in practically every incarnation since."
