First they butcher many Asian films when they're brought over here.

Then we get Kill Bill and Grindhouse split into two movies each.

Now Rodriguez and Miller are implying the fat bastards are responsible for the delay in getting Sin City 2 filmed.

And the kicker? Supposedly the Weinsteins are now going after any distributor that uses the term 'GRINDHOUSE' as a label on DVDs, such as the many DVDs that have been coming out lately. Like the Weinsteins invented the term!

Which Asian films did they butcher ? As for the rest, i don't really care one way or another except i definitely think tighter editing would have made a single Kill Bill film superior to the 2 uneven halves.

i say the hell with it , they need to give directors more freedom with the running time. if they want it to go an extra ten minutes , let them . if the movie is good and the fans are interested they wont mind staying a little longer,

i read the entire script for when both movies were one......

it was huuge.... ALOT was cut off... no need for more to be cut.

I like them and think that they are some of the best producers in Hollywood actually. They actually put out great films and dont meddle too much in production so I dont know where your getting your facts from.

They messed with the production of Cursed. Had the movie shut down when almost finished so the script could be re-written. They also delay movies for a while and edit them down.

Yep, not that bad..but could have been much better. Point is..they did mess with the production and chose to re-write the script, which led to cast members being replaced due to sch conflicts.

The movie was TERRIBLE!!

This thing had problems the second Crave nand Williams said "lets make another movie together"...way before the Weinsteins had anything to do with it.

Meh..and regardless they still don't meddle as much as other studios. Apperently they have a very good realtionship with A LOT of top name talent.

I have no problem with these guys. I've liked a bunch of movies they've put out, and the ones I didn't like I never saw, so who cares? Two Kill Bill movies is way more intelligent than one huge movie, and as far as the Bore of the Rings goes, I'd much rather have had one two hour movie instead of 3 873687856 hour movies, but whatever...
