Its very meh. It has some good concepts but the cheesey sitcom antics combined with the laugh track just don't do it for me. I expected better from McFarlane and Cordry.

I agree. I saw both episodes & I didn't really laugh. Maybe like one chuckle came out & that was it. Don't think I'll be watching that anymore.:down
The War At Home is a lot better IMO.

I thought it was great. I don't know if it will last but Corrdry will find work.

Its a good thing you divorced Donnie, he probably molested your son.

Bleah, couldn't watch the first one and didn't bothered seeing the second one. Doubt it'll last long

The O.J. joke at the beginning of the first episode was very... well, the less said the better.

It tries too hard to make a point of the fact that it is in the 90s. Like, after the Clinton joke, its just like "OK! WE GET IT ALREADY!"

It had some funny things and it has potential, but they actually need to flesh out characters instead of just having sitcom cardboard cutouts. Plus the laugh track (which is particularly obnoxious on this show) needs to go.

At anyrate, I liked this show a lot better when it was The 40 Year Old Virgin.

Seth MacFarlane needs to stick to Family Guy,and even that is a sinking ship.

It was actually pitched before that movie came out by Ricky Blitt. Fox passed on it and then later Fox brought back Family Guy, greenlit American Dad and then Blitt got Seth on board and Fox seems to love him and so Fox was happy to have another show with Seth. If it was a single camera comedy and dropped the laugh track it probably would've been better.

I only watched a little bit,other obligations.
Can someone please tell me what was in that bowl placed in front of him by his mother at breakfast? It looked like water with lemon slices floating in it. Did they make reference to it all?

This show was actually suprisingly funny...That's probably because I had quite low expectations for it anyway. Got used to the laughtrack and realized it was probably added in to make this show a parody of all the other laughtrack heavy shows (especially when the audience laughs at things that are clearly innapropiate to).

I don't understand the hate. Even though certain characters were weak, Cordry's expressions are priceless and there are some great ubsurdist moments.

It's funnier than most comedies on tv because the humor goes from cliched and innocent to nihilist and trippy in moments notice. You can never be sure what's going to happen next.

The routine story and characters are all just a set up for Cordry's reaction shots and they're worth it almost everytime. Just the desperate stalker face he gave the neighbor everytime she wasn't looking had me and my friends cracking up.

It's like 40 Year Old Virgin mixed with Get a Life. Nothing revolutionary but a great way to kill 30 minutes with friends. Cordry rules!

I thought it was pretty funny.

And The mom must be the hottest MILF on TV now.

This show is almost like my life cept i'm 26 and had a job before.

I thought it was all right. I see its gonna be one of those point fun at events that happen in the past like with the OJ joke.

I stopped watching when the laugh track kicked in. I could never stand laugh tracks. :-/

At first I thought it was ok, but after seeing the second episode I liked it better. Its not perfect but its funny. I like the corny moments because that whats makes it funny.
