The Walking Dead The Wire Alum Chad Coleman joins The Walking Dead

Where are all the fat zombies? Doesn't America have an epidemic of obesity going on? I expect that at some point in the series Rick and the gang will be surrounded by a fleet of overweight zombies.

The media is overblowing that to a degree. I've been up and down the East Coast and through the South, including Georgia. Every once in awhile you see an overweight family, but never a legion of Jabba the Hutts.

Tyreese the first one to straight punch a walker in the face tonight on the show? :BA:BA:BA:BA:BA

I believe so and it was indeed badass.

Tyreese, all I got to say is...

I love that they gave him a big ass hammer instead of the regular sized one in the comics. Now all they need is for someone to ask him to put the hammer down...;)

Okay, I love this show to death, but I can't believe that TWICE this season, they've killed off the black guy whenever a new black guy enters the picture. Are they TRYING to adhere to this cliche?

Perhaps, but the show has already given us two more black guys than the comic ever did.

Of course, they both died, but it still counts. :o

I was laughing my ass off at that too. I was just waiting for the black guy in the Governor's group to die too.

I loved that moment. One of my criticisms of the show is that every character so far is clueless about how to deal with the zombies if they don't have a weapon. Not the big guy.

so if tyrese gets killed is that when morgan will make his return lol

Does is make it better that the overall majority of walkers killed throughout the entire show look to be dead white people?:meanie:

Tyreese is like the black Rick minus the crazy

The worst thing about Oscar dying is he never got to enjoy those slippers. Its a crying shame.

The cure to the zombie virus is getting two black guys in a room together and them talking to one another :o

It does lol. Na, but seriously, that's because us brothers know how to not get bit and stay alive. However, we just haven't figured out how to be in the same place at the same time as other blacks hahaha:woot:

LOL HAHAHAHA....yes, but alas that will never happen. I hope we get Morgan and Tyrese at the same time though in the same scene lol. Hopefully Tyrese doesn't say, "Yeah I heard of Morgan he was the leader of this group he died though before they found me lol."

Man...they couldn't even let Oscar enjoy his slippers:huh: Prison slippers too. That's just wrong....so d*mn wrong!

If they ever accept my call-in or twitter question I'm going to ask, "Is there a curse of having two black men on the show at the same time or why is it that when another shows up another dies like immediately?" Lol

With that being said, does that rule apply to black females too ? If so, then Sasha is screwed as long as Michoone is around, LOL.

Women are safe. It's the guys who get ****ed over.

Since it looks like he'll play a bigger part next season hopefully Tyreese will be written better. I know he's a fan favorite in the comics but the show hasn't convinced me why.

I can see how you would feel that way because he cooled off a bit after he debuted. He was basically just a passive guy that didn't do much besides be a moral compass to show how bad Rick and The Governor were. In the comics he was basically Daryl with much more personality and input on what was going on. He is an easily likable character in the comics. He's a good guy all around with a cool way of killing zombies.

Not to mention [BLACKOUT]he became the group leader for a little while. [/BLACKOUT]

Might as well post this. lol

I still wanna know what happened with Oscar's body. I like to think Governor would have shown his head to Woodbury, but his bald head kept slipping out of his hand.

So...... Tyreese is being kind of a puss, huh? :o

I worked on a short film with Chad back in July the week before Comic Con and Chad had just left the set of Walking Dead to do the short film I was helping out on. I got the chance to met him briefly and asked him about Walking Dead of course ha. Naturally he couldn't say anything but he did drop some hints about his expanded role and stepping up to be Rick's right hand man line the comics. After seeing the season premiere I know kinda see what he was talking about. It should be interesting. BTW Chad is a really cool down to earth guy, it was a pleasure meeting him and seeing him act in person.

I thought Chad's name was going in the opening credits this season...?

Huh? His name went under the "Also with..." credits once the episode had started.
