The Wizard of Oz is On!

The Wizard of Oz is at it's best when you're watching it with Pink Floyd's The Wall in the background.

"Turn around, Dorothy"

LOL. I was just checking my DVR to see if it was on again. It is on like 10 more times tomorrow on TBS.

So to all you un-americanites. You have been given a seond chance. I suggest you go out, get you some Mac'n'Chee, & some Apple Pie. Sits your little b**ch ass down on the couch, & watch the movie. & You Will Like IT!:cmad:

so sad.

I suppose the Tin Man would be basically immortal. That is a little bit of bummer Picture though.

I thought that it wasn't like a real person, but that they did have it look like someone hung themselves in the background of one of the scenes in the original but in subsequent VHS and DVD re-releases, they took it out.

No, it was a bird. You can clearly see it. Why would they make it look like a dead person was in the background?

They need to remake the wizard of oz as a dark fairytale kinda thing ala pans labyrinth.that would be really cool.It doesnt have to be a musical either.

I believe Todd MacFarlane is getting involved.

Has anyone found the Munchkin hanging himself in the background.....

I think it was actually disproved as an Urban Legend, but it made for great fun trying to find it.....we finally did, got creeped out, and left it at that.....

Love the movie as well...

I hate to say it, but I'd rather watch Herbie Fully Loaded than The Wizard of Oz...

Yeah, it is really a bird.

Plus, Dorothy, the Tin Man, and the Scarecrow walk right by the "hanging munchkin." If we could see it, they most definitely could. I don't see how people can even believe that someone hung themselves yet no one on the set reacted to it and it even made to theaters. Seriously, think about it.

Yeah, but it was a alot of creepy fun looking for it......

And, no actually they were quite a distance from where it supposedly happened....

A hell of alot went on on moviesets that no one knew about back in the day....no TMZ, National Enquirer, alot went on that people had no clue about....

But, yes it was very outrageous, and we were young and stupid....:oldrazz:

Yeah. I agree. I believed it when I was 8, but now it is ridiculous and anyone over the age of 13 who believes that someone could commit suicide less than 10 feet away from the 3 actors, go unnoticed, and then bypass the post production crew entirely, is an idiot.

Definitely, I was alittle older than eight...lol but I also was trying to prove everyone wrong at the time......still............it was hysterical as we jumped everytime we thought we saw it.....lmao.
