The Worst TV Characters

This I don't understand. Literally everybody hates Sheldon, so why is that character considered the most popular?

THANK YOU...I've never liked that entire cast of morons, new AND old... I always wanted to punch out all their lights... perfect examples of poster boys and girls for birth control...

Haha, yeah... I actually liked the original group but the ones they brought in as their replacements were f***ing terrible. And Screech became 1,000 times more annoying when they brought him back.

Any character Jessica Lange plays on American Horror Story (except for Coven, enjoyed that one for some reason)

Thank you... I knew I was forgetting someone. That show has become unbearable thanks to Lange's hammy performances. She may have been four different characters on that show, but she's still playing the SAME damn character every season.

Also, thought of another one... Amanda Waller on Arrow. She's awful. It's both the actress and the writing... but that show is ruining one of my favorite comic book characters. Hopefully Suicide Squad and Viola Davis will do much better. Hell, there's literally NO WAY they could do any worse.

I disagree. I think Smallville's Waller was better than Arrow's, despite being poorly used.

I don't think there's a character in all of animation who deserves the hate they get more than him. Even the creator of the show hates him.

But while Rose Nylund from The Golden Girls falls into this category and she's my favorite GG, I typically hate the too stupid to live characters.

I think Gemma was a good character until maybe season six (definitely seven) when her husband (show creator Kurt Sutter) decided to make her the centerpiece of every episode.

Did you see Green Lantern? Smallville? Arrow is the best live action Waller we've gotten thus far.

I stopped watching Smallville way before she showed up, so I can't comment on that.

As for Green Lantern's version... Angela Bassett was actually good casting; unlike Arrow's version, she's at least old enough to believably be a top ranking government official, and I've seen enough of her in other films to know that she could deliver a performance worthy of the character. She unfortunately wasn't really given anything to do in GL though. I'm sure that, had things gone as planned and she was featured in more films, she would have been great as Waller. But all we really got was a couple of scenes of her not doing very much.

Wesley Crusher. Partly because he was a whiny child, partly because Wil Wheaton couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.

I can live with a whiny character. What I hated about Wesley was him solving problems the crew couldn't seem to. Also...

That being said, I thought Marissa sucked pretty bad a lot of the time. Summer and Seth were my favorites.

Probably because "everyone" in this case actually means a TINY fraction of a fraction of the total viewership who chat on message boards. So using that as evidence that he isn't popular in the greater viewing audience as a whole just doesn't work.

Wow I really dunno why I didn't list her yet but **** to the yes. And it's funny cause I literally just posted in TWD forums how I absolutely hated TV andrea but completely adored comic Andrea. I hated her so much with a passion on the show. Especially that scene in season 2 when she shoots Daryl in the ear from the top of the camper and she's all happy thinking it was a walker. She drove me ****ing crazy with hate haha.
