I get the feeling that Randys ''possible'' heel turn will involve Vince somehow? HHH mentioned last night that Vince wont be happy with Cena's choice (obviously takling about Bryan and playing up to the internet rumours about Vince not seeing any money in Bryan). So Im thinking that Vince will try and get Cena to change his mind and will fail, this will lead Vince to get in Ortons ear and tell to cash in his briefcase on Bryan if Bryan wins the WWE title from Cena, so that the title stays on guy that Vince likes (Orton).

Angle was given all the major singles titles in his first year.

I'm just pointing out that there is more to it than just being good. I'm not bashing any of the men I listed but it's not like talent will always win out. A wrestler's fate is always up to the promoter in the end.

A promoter can only do so much though. Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Ken Shamrock were all guys that were basically insisted upon the WWE audience, but the audience didn't buy it.

That's not always the case. Sometimes guys are always booked strong. What exactly did Hogan, Lesnar, Goldberg, and Angle do to earn their booking? Hogan has been booked strong since he came into the business. Some guys don't have to earn a thing.

Someone can be booked strong at the beginning, but if they don't have the "it" factor, if they don't connect with the audience, then they will go nowhere. See Lashley, Bobby.

If Hogan hadn't connected with the audience early on, he'd be nothing more than a footnote right now. And Angle, who was great, was not booked strongly from the beginning. He won a lot of matches, but was made to look like a buffoon in doing so, so I would not place him alongside Goldberg and Lesnar in terms of being treated like an invincible warrior.

Pink Ranger essentially addressed one point of my response, the other point is that, I can't comment on Hogan or Goldberg, as I didn't watch WWF until 1999, and I never watched WCW, but Kurt Angle is one of the all time best in the business and Brock Lesnar was an absolute natural freak. Both of these guys completely had it, which made people buy into the booking.

On the flip side, despite their great booking, I still don't give a flying flip about any of the guys in The Shield because they come across as absolutely generic.

Don't take that the wrong way, there's a lot of potential there, I particularly see potential in Ambrose and Reigns, and they can certainly put on a good match, but right now, they are nothing more than generic "anti-Cena" that ends up not really being any better than Cena in terms of generic and predictable booking.

Yet, I cite Daniel Bryan, who got more over than he had ever been after losing his World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania in 18 seconds. Or Dolph Ziggler who is possibly the most over guy in the company right now, during and following an on-going losing streak.

Yeah maybe,I just hope it's not Triple H vs Randy Orton as WM's ME again,Especially IF Trips will go over him yet again

Nell,How can you call someone"one of the greats in the business"when you never watched anything prior to 1999 including WCW?,And I doubt you have ever watched anything from Japan or Mexico past or present since your just a WWE mark(not bashing you for it But I think you've admitted it before)

I mentioned this last night, and it's a point in that skit that I believe has been glossed over. I don't think it was a throwaway line...my fear is that HHH and Vince are going to insert themselves into the Cena/Bryan program, which will already be crowded due to their planned (and unnecessary) use of the Bellas.

The problem with Curtis Axel is that he's yet to really show much personality. He's only had one promo on RAW where he spoke, and he hasn't won cleanly often enough to garner heat. In fact, it always seemed like he gets lucky more of the time which doesn't do much, especially when he doen't have (or at least haven't shown) the mic skills to make you care for him either way.

Lesnar worked with Paul Heyman because he was a monster heel who dominated matches and won very cleanly over his competition. In fact, I remember him demolishing guys his first 6, 7 months.

Axel needs to either start winning matches more cleanly, or if they want to go the cheating heel route, he needs to start cutting more promos on his own because all the heat if they keep doing the same thing that their doing now, Axel won't be the one who gets any heat, because all that heat will go to Heyman.

Man, WWE has been on a roll the past couple of weeks. I actually ordered MITB the other night, finally got around to watching that and Raw earlier today. Great PPV and a pretty good follow up Raw.

My point is that the idea that talent will win out is flawed. If Vince or Triple H doesn't want someone to pushed they won't be pushed.

Why doesn't Shelton Benjamin ever learn?

I'd laugh if Orton tries to cash in the MITB on Cena or Bryan after the match and they get themselves disqualified after he cashes in.

Vince must come out next week on Raw and tell Bryan that he is sorry but he cannot allow Cena vs Bryan for the WWE title, however since He is a decent man he will offer Bryan a title shot at either the US title or the IC title,Bryan will turn it down before Vince caves in and offers him a shot at the World Heavyweight Title.

:o

I'll be surprised if Punk vs. Lesnar isn't a gimmick match.

Yeah, one was the UFC Heavyweight champ. That won't end well for Punk.

I wouldnt mind Punk losing at Summerslam then getting a rematch perhaps at Survivor series?

anyway here is a great article on the Punk/Lesner fued.
CM Punk's Character Must Suffer to Maximize Brock Lesnar Feud
Defeating Lesnar is far more believable if it leaves Punk scarred, limping or otherwise hurting. You don't slay a dragon without getting burned.

The key word in WWE creative's meetings about this feud should be “struggle." For Punk's narrative of revenge to be at its most fulfilling, his vengeance must come with a price.

I'm also hoping Brock beats Punk clean at Summerslam then Punk wins clean in a rematch around Survivor Series

I have to randomly say, I watched the 'For All Mankind: The Life And Career Of Mick Foley' DVD tonight and I was very impressed.

Good to see a longer and more detailed history to Mick Foley's career. It was also great to watch some of his matches that I haven't watched since the events were live back in the day.

It definitely shares the top spot with Punk's DVD. Highly recommended to those who haven't seen it yet.

Sam Roberts interviews Warrior.

I wish this guy would stop with this ''What's the haps?'' crap.
This is honestly the first time I've looked at Warrior Warrior "Warrior" Warrior as Jim Hellwig, a human and not a caricature.

I also like how he shut that guy down in the first few seconds and got a good interview out of it. I never thought it would be possible to get to hear something like this.

Punk losing at Summerslam actually helps him in the long run.

It's clear that WWE is going with the idea that Vince doesn't want Bryan to be champion, and it must be designed to get him even more support. The evidence is piling up that they're going all the way with Bryan's push. I'm still skeptical though.

^ Pretty much. They hinted at it before when Vince kept saying how he felt about Bryan, and they hinted at it last night when Trips told Maddox that Vince may not like Cena's choice.

And people wonder why I don't like Orton. Two words: Mr. Kennedy.
... was a dangerous piece of **** wrestler and rightfully fired for being so.

You really need to finish your sentences before you post them.

Also, Orton needs to get his head out his ass and realize he's not god's gift to wrestling (that's Daniel Bryan).
