That Triple H match listing is just weak. I'm glad we finally got the Iron Man match and I loved the first LMS match with Orton, but geez they could've done so much better like including his match against Eddie Guerrero. Ugh!

Another thing about the comic:

- One of the Funkadactyls is missing. Not sure which one though.

The look on that kid's face :lmao:

Man, watching Kurt Angle wrestle Rey Mysterio again from SummerSlam 2002 makes me wish WWE could put out a best of of his work from those years. I know he's a TNA staple, and probably will be for years to come, but I'd love to get that set for some of those matches he's had, particularly his one on ones with Undertaker.

Did TNA put out an Angle set? If so, is it worth getting?

They're gonna pull an "Alberto Del Rio" on Dolph Ziggler real soon, I've give him by Survivor Series, he'll be heel again.

Vickie laid into Maddox with that smack. I'm jealous.

Mickie and Gail's segment and the match between Aries and Roode were the highlights of Impact for me, I am really curious as to what this losing streak is going to mean for Roode as I imagine there must be a pay-off.

The triple threat matches to decide who goes into the X Division title Ultimate X match were just not my type of thing, way too choreographed, and I honestly don't see the point in starting off a new era of the title with any of the the 3 guys that made it to the match, none of them have anything that makes them stand out.

The whole MEM vs Aces & Eights stuff just reeks of Russorific booking, garbage warfare at it's worst, not to mentioned how totally outclassed Aces & Eights look when you look at the members of the two factions, it's like the NWO vs the BWO.

The build up to Sabin vs Bully throughout the night was well done, it laid out Sabin's story well and I liked the backstage segment with him and Aries. However the match was a mess and it wasn't a glorious moment for the guy with the sob story, it was a mid card guy being used as a pawn in the Aces & Eights vs MEM angle, his win was about the MEM getting one over on the heels, not about crowning a new top star.

SD was a decent show, great to see Vickie back in charge and taking no prisoners. :D

The Shield and The Usos/Henry angle is fun but I just can't see it making the Summerslam card, it's got pre-show written all over it. Ziggler vs Swagger was short but solid and Dolph's post-match promo sending AJ loopy was fun.

I don't know why they bumped Bryan vs Barrett to SD if it was just going to be a squash, the finish was slick though.

I loved Sandow's promo, it hit all the right notes and Cody's actions spoke louder than words, although I think he needs to cut a promo soon. This feud is ideal for Cody and Sandow to really elevate each other.

Heyman's promo telling Punk to stay down was the usual gold and I'm curious about the earnest reaction of disgust by The Miz, not sure where that might lead.

The IC title match that the segment went straight into between Axel and Jericho was very good, giving Axel another strong win. Not sure what the point of Ryback's post-match beating was as it didn't feature anything that would write Y2J off TV.

The main event between Orton and Del Rio was top quality, just some great wrestling from both guys, however I'll never agree with jobbing the World Heavyweight Champion out clean in non-title TV matches that have no meaning. I just hope the result might lead to a WHC match between the two at Summerslam.

I'm not sure how I feel about The Shield being on the pre-show 2 months in a row. I know it's a strong draw and the SS PPV is going to be stacked but still.....

Holy damn that gif caught me off guard :wow:

That being said...

The Wrestling Thread is Sick and Tired of "Vintage" Cole :fst:

According to PWTorch.com, Last night's "Destination X" edition of Impact Wrestling drew a 1.16 cable rating and averaged 1.494 million viewers.

These numbers are up from last week's episode, which scored a 0.99 cable rating and took in an average of 1.19 million viewers.

Last night's show, which featured Chris Sabin defeating Bully Ray for the TNA Title, was the highest rated and most viewed episode of Impact Wrestling since January of this year.

Flair's daughter had her debut match on NXT this week against the awesome Bayley. :D

@ ndx

TNA released one on Kurt called Champion. Not only does it have a documentary feature on him, but the 2 disc set also includes his matches against Sting, Jay Lethal, the King Of Mountain match where he became the first TNA champion, and almost every bout with him and Joe. Definitely worth a buy IMO.
