Wasn't that whole thing in response to Henry whipping him the week before? I may be remembering it wrong, but I remember thinking at the time that people were making a big deal out of something that was just part of a normal wrestling storyline.

Edit: But not as much as I will hate it if The Authority turns face (if they haven't already... it's whatever makes Triple-H feel cool at any given time) and backs Daniel Bryan. That will kill his momentum.
