Yeah, the whole thing sounds bad until you actually watch the video. Sure, society tells us that a man should never ever hit a woman, but Chris Jericho wasn't exactly out of line for hitting her. But that's a whole different argument.

Yeah. I don't think he actually went with the intention of hitting her either, he was pushed, hit his head on the roof of the car, retaliated and just took a swing. Unfortunately it landed on a woman.

You'd be amazed how a seemingly insignificant deformity can be psychologically damaging. And I'm not even saying all of this because I'm a Rock fan. I think too few of us know the toll it can take. That's why I think it was a low blow on Cena's part. Disrespectful and unnecessary. This kinda reminds me of the Triple H/Booker T feud where things Triple H was saying weren't straight up out of line, but deep down, was racist as hell.

I wouldnt take my top off anywhere, and I even bailed on a summer holiday with my mates because I didnt want to take my top off on the beach

Quick question, if you could book any match to main event a PPV between any 2 fully active wrestlers working today, what would it be?

Punk, the innovative anti establishment babyface vs the influenced by the past traditionalist heel, Roode.

These two aren't fully active so second would be

The ultimate heroic babyface vs the biggest b*stard heel ever.

Well , there was that time Jericho punched Shawn Michael's wife in the face. That could add fuel to the fire if Punk wanted to paint Jericho as an abuser

Latest Austin Interview

Austin appeared on The LAW radio show this past Sunday night to promote his new film, Recoil. You can listen to the interview at FightNetwork.com. Here are some highlights of what Austin said about:
Talent Having Problems with The Rock returning: My thoughts on that are, you earn what you get in this business. Rock has earned the ability to come and go as he wants, because the business still needs him, it can still use him, and it can elevate the profile with having such a mainstream guy there. I don't know about the promos between John (Cena) and Rock. I think some of them have gotten kind of personal, you wonder how much of it's a work and how much of it's a shoot. At the end of the day, it's a worked business. Again, I think it's a good thing for Rock to be involved with this. He's earned his right to come and go and do whatever he wants.
Current talent being vocal to creative: "Punk was a guy, and is a guy who, man, that guy flew by the seat of his pants. He was pissed off, he vented, he cuts great promos. He worked himself out of a bad situation into a great situation. He knew when it was time to pick his spot, when he contract was gonna be up. That guy's been around the horn a few times, and he's been kicked around a little bit. He saw how the other guys were being treated, and he needed, and deserved, and earned the right to be treated in that same fashion. Guys, you gotta pick your spot, but you gotta be vocal. It is a very interesting machine these days. They need voices to question them. They need voices to inspire them, or fuel them, to rethink some of the things that they're doing and make it a better product.
Returning under the right circumstances: There's nothing up in the air for me. If there's something that presents itself as a business opportunity, then I have an open ear to listen to it. It would have to be right for myself, my opponent, and obviously the company. I'm not lobbying for another match. There's always talk. People ask, "am I capable of having another match?" Yeah. If I was in a bad situation, I would get back in the ring full time if I had to, but I don't have to. I'm happy doing what I'm doing.

Daniel Bryan vs Cm Punk :oldrazz:

Also Kurt Angle vs CM Punk would be good.

Then of course, Undertaker vs Sting ( even though Undertaker only wrestles once a year)

That just sucks. I never realized it was an actual condition until now.

Between Jericho punching Rebecca Michaels (Hickenbottom) and that fan (somewhat justified IMO) Punk could call Jericho loser like Chris Brown. Might be crossing the line but it would get a reaction.

I'd also bring up Jericho fighting Chyna but...I'm not sure Chynas a woman. Maybe HHH could tell us. :cwink:

Austin vs Lesnar has a built in real world story but so does Austin vs Punk. Plus their gimmicks could make it pretty interesting. It should be face vs face. They can still have a misunderstanding or not like each other as faces.

The reactions among older fans would be pretty damn interesting. They love Austin but they respect Punk a lot. Its not a case like Rock vs Cena where they older fans see Punk as silly. Someone like him could have made it during the Attitude Era.

Daniel Bryan vs Kurt Angle. While I haven't even cared about Angle in the least in several years, this match could be amazing. Have to see it booked just once.

I'd like to see John Cena vs AJ Styles.

Machine Gun Kelly looks like Olive Oyl if she was a dude, and gangsta lol. [YT]BFSc7hPAKLE[/YT]

WTF??? What's was that about?

Edit: just watched the video. I was thinking it was real, hahaha!

It was duing Michaels and Jerichos last fued about 4 years ago. Shawn and his wife were both in the ring and Jericho swung for Shawn but hit Rebecca...maybe (kayfabe) accidentally. They played around with the possibility that Jericho didn't have any remorse over it.

Quick question, if you could book any match to main event a PPV between any 2 fully active wrestlers working today, what would it be?

Dolph Ziggler vs. Cody Rhodes. It would be like Owen Hart vs. British Bulldog. Great match that gets overlooked, but it would still be cool.

Or I would go all black power and pick The Pope vs. M.V.P. :BA

Along with the ones already mentioned I would love to see Jack Swagger vs Kurt Angle or Kharma vs Beth Phoenix.

Jarrett may never have made it but not only did Austin refuse to work a match with him they did an angle where Jarrett would be cutting a promo, Austin would come out and stun him, then leave, but in truth Jarrett was booked like crap in general and I don't think JR liked him for one reason or another.

Foley confirmed this one.

Business is business and he knew he was running out of road.

Never heard this one before as Jericho was booked weak his whole run.

They seemed to tease Austin vs Triple H at the Rumble that year and I've read the rumours.

That wasn't about Eddie, there was a lot going on with Austin both personally and professionally that led to that implosion.

The only person who lost out there was Austin as it cost him money.

Never heard there was any plans for him to work that Mania.

That made me wary as well, plus as soon as Lesnar talked about him on a WWE interview for WWE12 Austin changed his mind about the one guy he would come back to wrestle, clearly smelling the money in a match with Lesnar.

Yeah Jarrert was never going anywhere in WWF anyways. He was always going to be a midcarder at best., however wCw treated him like a maineventer for some reason.

Not a bad idea. I think if Punk brought up Jericho's mom , that would be crossing the line. I think she was paralyzed by the boyfriend but you could say that turned him into an abuser. Something along those lines. Probably too mean spirited

I hope we see Punk vs Austin. I like the idea of Lesnar vs Austin but with neither of those guys on the roster it would be a weird match up unless Lesnar is doing more than one match with the company.
I don't think Punk has to turn heel . He can tell Stone Cold he respects him but doesn't think it's right to promote drinking.

Double J was a talented wrestler, but I never bought him as a main event wrestler. not even when he was lording over TNA.

Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo: The circle that keeps on jerking.

Funkasarus vs Mark Henry. But as a dream match Funkasarus vs Umaga would be all kinds of awesome.

Rampage Jackson is reportedly done with UFC after his next fight. If I was Vince I would reach out to him about working for WWE, because he's a huge wrestling fan.

There's no way in hell Rampage works for WWE. He complains about over training now. With the schedule that even a part time WWE talent has Rampage would burn out quickly and start blaming Vinnie Mac and the fans for not supporting him. He's funny as hell though, so it would be fun while it lasted.

Just imagine a Rampage/Truth segment on RAW.

Rampage JAckson would proably want to go into acting, he already did The A-Team. I can see him in the Expendables 3.

After seeing his fights and A-Team, I would support Rampage in the 'E.
