It could work as long as they treat it like the first brand split where both shows are treated equally, they keep the brands separate, and they use it as an opportunity to develop certain guys characters.

Seriously when the Brand split first happened Smackdown was consistently great. Raw was pretty good too, it's just that the main event scene there was awful due to HHH and his 15 minute opening promos.
Actually when it first happened, Smackdown was great and Raw was continually garbage. Then it would go the opposite way.

Don't forget Jeff Hardy in 09. Was getting massive pops.

2009 Jeff Hardy was getting the biggest pops since 2002 Rock.

Throughout the entire Reign of Terror, Smackdown was consistently the better show. The Smackdown Six and Heyman booking was spectacular in the beginning of that three year run. I even remember some weeks, I would skip RAW and just wait for the recap on Smackdown.

Instead of another brand extension between RAW and Smackdown what about a Civil War type of storyline where Shane runs RAW and The Authority run Smackdown but the roster remains the same so if Wrestler A is feuding with The Authority he might get more favorable treatment when he's on RAW but when he's on Smackdown he has the deck stacked against him. People start picking sides and we take The Authority angle to a more inter-promotional level type of feud where the wrestlers are caught in a power struggle for the company. And to make it different let it transcend the usual heel/babyface dynamic. Some babyfaces pick Team Authority over Team Shane but that doesn't mean they suddenly turn heel. Undertaker facing Shane at WrestleMania can plant the seed for that idea, where Taker decides to support Vince but doesn't become a heel just for doing so. It just means its a more complicated alignment.

You've watched the product for the last year or so. WWE Creative is incapable to write any of that.

WAY to complicated for the E.

But I like it.

Watching Raw on Hulu and that opening segment was gold.. Gold! I knew I missed Shane.. But I didn't realize how bad until now. There was a lot of reality blurs here and I can't help but wonder if Shane is back to legit take control of the company. I also thought Vince looked VERY old. I'm also assuming that Enzo and Big Cas will be the first to dethrone TND.

In closing.. . At I also suggest a "The Wrestling Threads Not PG!" title? That chant cracked me up.

Reigns acts about as good as Hayden Christensen in the Star Wars prequels.

I've heard the idea that New Day should take on the Wyatts and I think that could be a pretty entertaining feud.

The Wyatts are just so hard to take seriously.. Since all they do is lose. :/

Haha. Seriously.. When they asked him about Dean I felt like I was watching those horrible dinner date scenes in Attack of the Clones. I was expecting him to say that Master Obi-Wan would be "very grumy" if he told her anything..

Lucha Underground!

-Jack Evans vs PJ Black was great, I love Drago!

-Killshot is pretty cool but King Cuerno ftw!

-Chavo Jr vs Tejano is a decent little feud

-Some more interesting back story to Dario and his brother

-Pentagon Jr is such a f'n badass and Catrina is lucky she's a teleporter!

-Cage is truly a machine!

After their loss at Fastlane, their credibility is shot. The only saving grace for Bray Wyatt now since he lost out on working with Brock Lesnar is to have a Wrestlemania match against Dolph Ziggler. They've had really good matches in the past.

According to Dave Meltzer WWE diva Charlotte will defend the Divas title against Sasha Banks at this years WrestleMania.

Charlotte will defend the Divas title against the winner of a match with Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch this Monday in Nashville on Raw.

Meltzer noted that its obvious that Sasha will win because of how shes been booked and protected and that they could do a three-way, doing a double pin type finish. But anything but Charlotte vs. Banks would be a change in plans.

Also, why does Alex Riley look different? It's like he stole something from Ryback's Medicine Cabinet.
