I actually almost see them going in a route where Hunter and Punk finally start to respect each other, then team up against Laurinitis, Nash, and Awesome Truth and anyone else going against them.

He's still the COO. Also it's obvious Lauranitis was trying to screw him over. Miz and Truth seem to be in on it.
