Yes but we still got bad Russo storylines in WWF, where Vinnie Mac had the final say.

here's a little more on the Russo demotion.

Vince Russo Removed As The Head Writer Of TNA

By Michael Bluth
Oct 6, 2011 - 1:47:17 PM

Vince Russo has been removed from his post as the head of TNA's creative team, according to a report by ProWrestling.NET.

Russo has been replaced by Bruce Prichard, who is also in charge of TNA's talent relations.

Russo is not entirely gone, as he'll still be one of the senior writers for the show along with writer Matt Conway, but Bruce Prichard will now handle the overall direction of the shows and has the final say on the scripts.

This major change to TNA's creative structure has been in the works for several months and became official within the past week or so.

There are said to be mixed feelings in the TNA locker room regarding Bruce Prichard getting so much power in TNA so early into his run with the company - but at the same time, Russo's demotion is sure to make many people happy.

As nice as it is to hear that Russo no longer in charge I'm still not going to start watching TNA, I haven't watched since 2006 and I'm gonna need to read about how things are changing and staying for the better before I think about investing in TNA again.

Well, Roode's push is going well and Austin Aries is doing some good stuff. TNA has some good things going on right now.

I'm gonna watch TNA for the same reasons I still watch WWE...to see the good stuff despite there being plenty of bullsh** to sift through.

Even in the last couple of years TNA has given me good stuff WWE couldn't and WWE has done the same when it comes to TNA.

Thank God for Beer Money and the MCMG. If I wanted a great tag team series bullsh** like Koztino and The New Nexus just wasn't cutting it for me. A shame we can't put both companies together (with someone else besides the people running them running it of course.) and leave the good stuff they both do as is because then we might have a great wrestling company

As long as Hulk Hogan is still in TNA, I don't expect TNA to get any better.

TNA already has been getting better over the past couple of months.

About time they removed Russo. This was long overdue. If Hogan had something to do with this then at least I can give him some credit for actually doing something useful for TNA for a change!

I was really hoping Hulk was was really retiring, ugh he's such a tease.

Russo being out as the head of creative is a good thing. Yes things are still not going to be perfect and TNA will suffer a lot of the same problems like Hogan and some other political games, but Prichard is still a better alternative to Russo.

Heck the last few weeks of TV have been proof of that, since apparently this has been in the works for a little while now and it's easy to see Prichard's influence coming in the writing with Roode, Storm, Styles and AJ, among other things.

I agree with all of this. It's nice for me to able to enjoy watching Impact again. It felt like a chore for awhile.

Hogan resigning with TNA means that he still won't promote the company.

WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H vows to absolutely not step down from running WWE Raw SuperShow. Furthermore, Triple H vows that John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show will headline Monday night?s telecast, emanating from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

On the Oct. 3, 2011, edition of* WWE Raw SuperShow, Raw Superstars, Divas, officials, broadcasters and other WWE employees issued a virtually unanimous vote of no confidence in Triple H?s leadership, citing an unsafe working environment on Monday nights. Despite an ensuing walkout, The Game told WWE.com he will continue day-to-day operations of WWE?s flagship show.*

Watch Cena, Punk, Orton, Sheamus and Big Show in action live on WWE Raw SuperShow this coming Monday night at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

Some of these Maryse photo shoots are interesting. I think the eye patch one is cool. Still love to shag her rotten .

So I guess they're all going to come out and endorse Triple H?

New title coming up for the thread.... some suggestions?

:) I hope so, since I suggested that 1 earlier.

could the WWE get away with the Undertaker kidnaps and holds Stephanie hostage storyline today?

Bruce Prichard's thoughts on Russo and TNA before joiing the company.

I've read a lot of people hate Prichard's guts and he is not well liked. I'm just amazed that Dixie Carter always tends to hire people that are so polarizing to her roster and staff. For a woman who always tries to make her company a friendly happy atmosphere, she sure does bring the most problemsome guys.
