Damn that would be huge but I still don't want any interference in this....but that would be a big deal When they say "return" do they mean on a full time basis? Semi regular? Sporadically? Limited run ala Jericho?

A Brock run in solves the huge problem with the finish and would keep some people from being too angry at a dusty finish/DQ but a match like this built up this long should end clean.

i'd say if they have to have a clean finish, cena wins(he's going to lets be honest) crowd cheering, cena poses brock jumps the rail f5 boom

I will be leaving this cause it is quite frankly ridiculous, but I will point out that you were the one who started arguing the semantics of whether some wrestlers characters were fundamentally different or not. youve been grasping since the get go son. I havent used every excuse, I have maintained the whole time that there are successful characters who are fundamentally different to the real life person.

Cornette is amusing but often delusional and full of hot air and carny ******** and still wishes it was the territory era in the 70's.

Triple H's biggest problem is that he's never been as a big a star and Hogan, Austin or Rock, and was never among Savage, HBK and Flair as an elite worker, and I am sure that eats at him.

HHH was always a great villain but not as great a top babyface. Even during his run at the top after Austin and Rock were semi gone he tried to play Ric Flair.

But indeed he was never in that upper echelon. Even if he was that good (he could have been probably) he never should have mixed business and pleasure if he really wanted to prove himself. The later part of his career will always be tainted with doubts about him and his spot.

Thats what happened when his sperm made a McMahon egg do the job.

I can only imagine Brock coming back for a few dates. If so I can see him in matches with Cena,Punk, Triple H.Maybe Rock and Austin. But he'll only do Summerslam and Mania I think.

Thats the way I see it. I mean its not like his diverticulitis issues are gone for good are they? I'm sure he can manage it but I doubt he could put his body through that much punishment without fears of what might happen.

Brock would not be returning to face Austin. Austin would not risk his health returning to face a guy like Brock. His neck is in bad shape and he is going to wrestle a guy who is safe and he can trust in the ring to take care of him. Brock is not that guy. Austin would face Punk. Brock? No chance in hell!

I think the payoff would be a big factor. They both know the payday for this match would be huge and its an easy sell. They both know its about drawing and making money. But of course nobody wants to see them handle each other with kid gloves either. It really depends on Austins neck but I think he's good to go for one match.

Is that security in the background?

I'd really like to know what was discussed considering how Punk feels.

Reminds me of the photo of Bret and HHH talking at Wrestlemania 26. You never thought it would happen.

HHH was probably like shark circling. "A Bret job would make a nice notch on my bedpost" He probably has a wish list of guys he wanted to job to him

I think even HHH knows Punk aint goin anywhere so at least the should have a good business relationship...even if that Punk job keeps HHH warm at night.

Thats what I was thinking about last night. Even if the crowd is ready to boo Cena straight to hell Brock returning and F5's Rock and Cena or just Cena would make everybody forget that real quick. The outrage over a Cena win by that segment of the crowd would be replaced by excitement over the fact that Lesnar has returned.

WWE has been negotiating with Brock Lesnar on a return to the company. There's been some discussion that the two sides have been talking about Brock returning at Wrestlemania this Sunday and maybe getting involved with Cena and the Rock closing the show. The two sides are still talking and nothing set in stone

This would work great for setting up Summerslam and WM28

If Brock were to attack Rock then it could set up a bout at Summerslam (like many want).

But also, it could set up Brock to have a match at next years Wrestlemania.

If along the way they had him form an alliance of sorts with Punk, they could bring the Austin vs Punk/Austin vs. Brock feuds into play.

TBH, I really don't want Brock to face Taker and/or beat him and having him go up against Austin is a much better option.

BTW, would anyone else love to see Cena vs. Punk at Wrestlemania 29 for the WWE Title? I've heard people say they should save that match until Wrestlemania 30/XXX but I think it would be awesome headliner for any 'Mania.

If Brock wrestles anyone I'd probably want it to be Cena, Taker, and after that Austin. In that order of desire to see.

Cenas the top dog now so the match would be bigger. Plus it keeps Cena busy with something big besides the WWE title since Rock won't be there much later.

I'd want to see Brock challenge the streak. Its different and if Taker wins its better than feeding him another full time guy trying to make it.

Austin vs Lesnar is the match that never happened so there's a built in story and anticipation

The difference between people getting tired of Hogan and booing him and people booing Cena is that it took almost a decade for Hogans act to wear thin. People were booing Cena the first year he became the top guy. They didn't even give him much of a chance. Part of that was bad booking but it was also people just wanting to be trendy

Good point. I think Rocky is probably fed up with Cena making candid statements and might want to get away from that. Punk would only be worse and has more crowd support. At least with Ziggler , Rock can coast through the feud and Ziggler will look like a bigger star for being involved.

Vickie is like the perfect target for the Rock and so is Dolph since he's associated with her.

He doesn't need to do it medically you mean or he just doesn't need to do it at all? I don't think he NEEDS to do it either. I mean part of me wants his retirement to stay pure. Same as Michaels. Putting over Rock in his last shot was a classy way to go out.

But if he did return for the right match I couldn't help but be excited. He didn't get to totally retire on his terms. He knew it was his last shot unlike Edge and but injury still forced him out a lot earlier than he probably wanted.

I read everything you said. You said the theatrics fundamentally WERE the core character then you said they were part of the core character and when I pointed out to you long runs where he HAD no powers and HAD no theatrics you tried everything you could to argue otherwise.

The character has evolved over the years to a point there is more beneath the theatricality. He's never been as complex as SOME characters but there is something there.

I point out instances where the man blended with the character and you ignore them.
