Hasn't Austin said he'd like to wrestle Brock just recently?

I know Brock said last year he would come back and like to wrestle Austin since he never got the chance due to Austin taking his ball home that infamous monday, but Steve has never said anything about wanting to come back to face Brock to my knowledge

Brock's WWE theme playing loud during or after the match/pacing around the stage then run towards the ring/kick someone's a** at ring side and throwing them back into the ring as he backs up the ramp..Just like in WWE'12 Universe Mode would be a f'n total mark out moment for me for the whole night!

I think it was the other way around but I do know for a fact that they had a war of words over Twitter, somewhat reigniting their old feud and starting rumors that they would face each other in a future wrestlemania bout.

haha, awesome moment. We can only wish and hope that happens. :wow:

It would be a huge moment that would draw immediate buzz and give WWE the upkick in fan interest and the ratings that they desperately need.

Brock has become a biggesr star outside of WWE than when he was with the company and there would be a lot of intrigue from the casuals, hardcores, and older fans that stopped watching.

Now whether WWE could keep that interest would depend on the booking. That's another matter altogether.

It'll be very interesting to see if WWE and Brock sign a deal. The two sides have wanted to work together for a while now and been talking. The biggest obstacles on the two sides working out a deal continue to be the UFC and money. Brock is retired but he still had a fights remaining on his contract with the UFC. It'll ultimately be up to Dana White

Normally agree w/Punk. He's wrong here tho. Cyclops can beat Cap, Marvel just don't wanna put him over

Boo-urns to that. One throw of the shield and the visor comes off, and Cyclops freaks out like he always does. Hand to hand, Cap can KO him in 10 seconds with one arm tied behind his back.

Let's take it back....

Stone Cold and HBK vs the Hart Foundation, 1997.

Enjoy. :)

IF Brock does return at least like maybe Jericho's deal of a couple of months,What feuds/matches would you like for him?For me..

Vs Cena
Vs Punk
Vs Orton
Vs Jericho
Vs Taker(WM29)
Vs Daniel Bryan
Vs Dolph Ziggler(imagine how Ziggler would sell everything for Brock)
Vs Evan Bourne(same as Ziggler)
Vs A-Train/Lord Tensai(he improved big time in Japan)

IF they return for more matches..
Vs Rock at SS
vs Austin at SS or WM

I've also read on various news sites that a match against Taker next year at WM29 is one Lesnar is interested in.

If Rock/Brock happens again...needs to happen at SS

I like the possibility of Taker vs Brock at WM29,Cause

Last time they faced each other it was years ago&Taker was not the dead man/Now it'd be much fresher than HBK or Trips yet again/Brock was pushed as such a beast during the ruthless aggression&is now a big MMA guy that many casuals&hardcore fans will really think Taker FINALLY will go down as Undertaker will be even closer to retirement anyway,Plus it'd be good for them cause they have a real little feud!

Great match.

On a different note, I 100% think that the best way to get past all the Owen drama, as far as the HOF goes, is to have him inducted with the Hart Foundation.

Induct them as a group and you get inductions for all of them. Bulldog, Owen, Pillman, and Neidhart get in w/o any of the controversy that might otherwise be their.

Also, they could have their one time manager Jimmy Hart induct them.

Didn't Brock Lesnar retire due to health issues?

I can only imagine Brock coming back for a few dates. If so I can see him in matches with Cena,Punk, Triple H.Maybe Rock and Austin. But he'll only do Summerslam and Mania I think.

- Former WWE creative team member Seth Mates recently spoke about the resentment some WWE talent has for the Rock's return and more.

On backstage resentment of the Rock: "The resentment towards Rock always struck me as a little bit funny. Because the thing about Rock is that people like are jealous of Rock not for stealing the spot but for being one of the guys who got out. You know he made it. He made it in a big way. He made a ton of money. And then he had an exit plan. And now he can come back and work when he wants. And it's not like Rock is coming back and working with a gu...y who – he's coming back to help make John Cena bigger than Cena ever was. He's coming back to work with a guy who works house shows and who works Raw. You know. He's coming back and he's bringing mainstream attention. I can't speak to the locker room leader this and whatever. I just know that wrestlers like to talk, wrestlers like to stir the pot, wrestlers like to cause trouble. Not a knock on them. Everybody does in every profession. You know every job I've ever had people talk you know what about other people in the room. Rock's not stealing anybody's spot. Rock is bringing a lot of eyeballs.

On Triple H's jealousy driving the resentment: I know that a lot of the stuff that Cena has said about Rock and his feelings towards Rock sound like something that would be coming directly from, you know Mr. Helmsley and his view. Because, again, as I said, I always sensed some insecurities as related to Rock and to [Steve] Austin and how, again, in my mind and perception, he never was at that level. And so he wanted to position himself as, well, I'm as good, if not better. Which I don't know that he has done that.

As for Brock, I always wanted to see him Vs. Helmsley. That'd be my top Brock match aside from seeing him wrestle Undertaker or Jericho.

I know Brock said last year he would come back and like to wrestle Austin since he never got the chance due to Austin taking his ball home that infamous monday, but Steve has never said anything about wanting to come back to face Brock to my knowledge

He teased it and IIRC said he was open to it if the circumstances were right, but then again, he did the same for Punk.

I see, I recall the Twitter bit after Brock made the video comments when promoting WWE 12, but I thought Austin had said something in an interview. All I can find is the below article with no direct source to Austin actually saying it.

Great match, this was at a point before they had played out the booking of two rivals as tag champs. Owen & Bulldog were the best team in the business at that point and Austin and HBK gelled surprisingly well given they'd never teamed before, I guess their years of tag team experience helped.

Brock retired because he started losing. Retiring immediately following a loss speaks volumes. If he couldnt continue because of health issues he never would of did that last fight.

Don't Taker and Brock have some real life beef? I wonder if they could work together.

Really don't like that guy

One throw of the shield & Cap loses. Cyclops blasts the shield outta the air & then does the same to Cap. The shield is the only thing that keeps Slim from blasting him as soon as the fight starts. The last thing Cap wants is the visor off anyway. As for the h2h stuff, you're 100% right(maybe not about the 1 arm part), & that's why Cyke would never let it come to that. This is a great tactician vs a great tactician w/a WMD on his face. &he's like a surgeon w/it. He's probably THE most underrated guy in comics

The guy got Diverticulitis TWICE, had to get pieces of his guts removed & then fought a K1 elite who kept kneeing him in the gut. Brock's about being amongst the best and if he can't be at that level he'd rather be gone. He's lucky to be alive after the illness he had. I gotta respect him. He NEVER took any easy UFC fights or "tune ups", even though I wish he would have. Soon as he got there he fought a former world champ who admittedly likes breaking bones. I wish he'd never gotten sick.
