It would definitely fit in with his current persona where he wants to prove that he's not the weak link.

I just hope they do away with this whole "weak link" angle. He got on the submission victory on Seth Rollins to give The Shield their first loss and got a clean victory over Randy Orton to win the rubber match. Now that he's proven himself, they can build to him winning the MITB and eventually challenging Cena.

At this point, The best thing to do with him would probably be to make him similar to Kurt Angle's "Wrestling Machine" persona

At this point, The best thing to do with him would probably be to make him similar to Kurt Angle's "Wrestling Machine" persona

They can't have him keep the "weak link" gimmick as a face, he's over with the fans cause he's dynamic in the ring. It works as a transition from his Team Hell No persona (goofy, huggy) to a more lethal wrestling weapon (which is how he should've been booked this entire friggin time).

He beat Randy Orton clean, this should be the moment where the "weak link" thing is dropped, never even mentioned again. In story, he shouldn't be out trying to prove he's not the weakest link, he should be trying to prove he's the best wrestler in the world.

And I keep waiting for CM Punk to do a promo with "I am the BEST in the WORLD.............at what I do, and what I do isn't very nice."
