The match was anything goes that is why they brawled for ages out in the crowd with no count outs, Taker hit Austin with the belt at one point didn't he?

Which would suck and make me wish that Shawn had did it even more.

HHH/Taker III is totally unnecessary. I saw the reason for it last year since the main-events that were in place for weak. But you've got Rock/Cena headlining, a potential Punk/Jericho match. HHH should be facing Punk, Taker should be facing at least Ziggler and helping get these guys even further established.

I don't know, with Rock/Cena headlining, it's feels like an ego thing, like they gotta have this rematch to stay relevant or in the spotlight.

EXACTLY! it is two guys using their spots to give themselves a big match up. Neither of them need it, both are better service to the business wrestling guys that need the rub, even taking Punk out of the equation, there are several young heels that could have benefited from a match with Taker or Triple H, even if they lost.
