More than likely. It reminds me of the ('09) Big Show / Cena feud where the big man didn't get a single victory

[BLACKOUT]Triple H [/BLACKOUT]vs. Undertaker Set for WrestleMania, Likely Main Events

Posted by Marc Middleton on 12/13/2011
- As seen on last night's RAW Supershow, Triple H brought up The Undertaker's absence and declared that The Streak ended at WrestleMania 27 because we haven't seen The Deadman since then and he couldn't leave the ring on his own.

The Wrestling Observer reports that Triple H vs. The Undertaker is booked as one of the matches at WrestleMania 28 in Miami.

We noted yesterday that officials have Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk for the WWE Title also penciled in for WrestleMania 28. Add The Rock vs. John Cena and you have the three main events for Miami.

*******

So:

All that hype for Cena vs. Rock for the title, and then they don't even do it.

But, at least CM Punk vs. Jericho for the title is a much better match. God damn near dream match if you ask me.

Although I really wanted CM Punk vs. Triple H, but I guess that whole aspect has come and gone.

Triple H vs Taker II or III for those of us that haven't got short memories is pathetic, their last match was a bore and now they are gonna stink it up again. Both these two should be helping younger guys not hogging time on this ********.

As for the Stephanie and Jericho thing - I'm not inherently against it, but how does it make sense, considering the last time I saw them together Jericho was calling her a bottom feeding trash bag hoe?

The last time they were on the same show together she was managing Jericho, Jericho has only had one brief face spell since then and it was under PG rules when he came back in 2007 with Steph no longer on TV.

The vids for Jan 2nd state that the person is coming back to take what is theirs, on Twitter and such Jericho has claimed Punk ripped him off, and we all know the history Steph has with Punk and it would make sense that she was behind Nash and Laryngitis.

It would also give Punk a real top heel to work with as well as a great evil authority figure to play off, as lets face it no one in the arenas even get the reason Laryngitis is being mocked.

Triple H vs. The Undertaker again? Seriously?

Also, the Rock needs to do sequels more often. He makes the sequel better somehow.

I'm a bit surprised but can't complain because it's an exciting line-up. I think
Triple H vs Punk could be moved to the summer , if it ever happens.
I was think Jericho having a darker character meant he would target Undertaker but at least he's coming back
Also , I've been hoping we'd get Jericho vs Punk somewhere down the line. This works for me.

Awww, 2007 was during that time period that I wasn't watching. I didn't realize that Stephanie had managed him.

I do know that Jericho has made claims of guys ripping him off. I can't wait to see Jericho back, and I think that proposed feud is great for him.

As for the other thing, I disagree on Triple H vs. Undertaker II, I thought it was a really exciting match, but I do agree on 3. It shouldn't happen, IMO.

Well the idea certainly isn't fresh. I didn't think it was that bad but the ending did leave me feeling kinda sour. The only other downside is that it really looks like Triple H came out to hog Punk's spotlight this year.

I'm one who agrees that Trips vs Taker I&II were good But that III shouldn't be happening!

Re: The Touch

Yeah, I marked out. What's even more impressive is that even used part of Ace's infamous "
If you don't got it, get it" promo!

Why on Earth is it so hard for them to pick a NEW opponent for The Undertaker at Wrestlemania?

The thing it always stood out for with me was Austin won clean, at that point no one had ever pinned Taker clean and it was made a big deal of going in, so it really sealed the deal of Austin being this massive draw ala Hogan.

Nah, Austin cheated by kicking Undertaker in the balls although Austin did state going into that match he would do whatever it took to win. I still loved their SummerSlam 1998 match. That sh** was Wrestlemania worthy. However, he did beat The Undertaker clean for the title the night after KOTR 1999 though.

The WrestleMania XVII match is the only good one Taker and Triple H have had together.

It was 2002 when Steph managed Jericho, remember he defended against Triple H at WrestleMania 18?

Jericho is awesome and a feud between him and Punk will surely be gold if they are given freedom, however Triple H was the opponent Punk needed at Mania for the big win IMO.

Well at least we agree on that. :D :cwink:

Exactly, and Taker is no better, he calls his own shots and yet he's allowing this stale repeat to happen.

The match was no holds barred though so I'd consider that a clean win given the stip and the things Taker did in the match as well.

I'm a little disappointed that Taker is supposedly going against Triple H yet again at Mania...

Last time Stephanie and Jericho were in the ring together was the RAW before the 2009 Rumble. Jericho was made to get on his knees and apologise to Stephanie and the fans. This was also the night Orton attacked Vince, thus starting the angle with HHH.

I also really like Kane's new/old appearance.

If it's HHH vs. the Undertaker again, I don't think it will be a shock to see HHH break the WM streak.

Which would suck and make me wish that Shawn had did it even more.

HHH/Taker III is totally unnecessary. I saw the reason for it last year since the main-events that were in place for weak. But you've got Rock/Cena headlining, a potential Punk/Jericho match. HHH should be facing Punk, Taker should be facing at least Ziggler and helping get these guys even further established.

I don't know, with Rock/Cena headlining, it's feels like an ego thing, like they gotta have this rematch to stay relevant or in the spotlight.

HHH ending the streak would be awful. The streak should go to someone who is on the cusp.

HHH/Taker III is going to be boring as hell.Hunter should put Punk over at Mania. He's probably trying to avoid that scenario though.

Dolph Ziggler would be the perfect opponent for Undertaker. Before I thought C.M. Punk was, but he's a face now so it won't work as well. If this is Undertaker's last match you need a good heel to rub it in the fans' faces. He's on a really big streak right now, and it's a simple challenge for him. He could come out one night while the Undertaker is returning and say that there was never anyone good enough to put the Undertaker away for good. Undertaker would obviously accept the challenge, and at WM they have a match that puts over Ziggler well. He's on a good run, Vickie brags with him or tries to interfere when he's up, and then Undertaker capitalizes and gets the win. The next night they play up the Undertaker's career while Dolph talks about how he retired the Undertaker. He'd then get rid of Vickie for costing him the match, and move on to the main event.

Cody Rhodes would be great for that too, but I personally want to see him involved in a match that elevates the IC title again. They need something that brings that title back to the limelight.

Yeah, it's BS that HHH is not putting Punk over at Mania. That would cement Punk as a top guy like it did Cena and Batista.AIt least Punk isn't being treated like Orton was in the WM 25 feud.
