Triple H vs. Punk is happening way too soon, but honestly I'm too excited for the match to care.

I'm sure it will end with some kind of shenanigans and a Nash run in or something to drag it out before their real clash when Hunter finally actually turns. One thing I will say is they continue to keep it exciting and unpredictable. That's a real good thing.

I am wondering how this is going to go... I mean, we were just thrown for a loop. We all figured Nash would be fed to Punk and we'd go from there... Instead we're getting (maybe) HHH vs Punk already.

They've handled this very well for the most part and I don't see them "rushing" this. Something is going to go down... Maybe, like others said... double DQ with Nash laying them both out?

The sad part is Nash actually could have. I'm sure Punk and HHH could have a good match at NOC but they really need to let the big showdown simmer for a while. it was going perfect so far.

Credit to Cena tonight, when Sheamus hit the ring Cena reacted like he was going to attack him, which I liked as they have history, Cena didn't just suddenly forget about it because Sheamus is now a face.

I'd actually rather have them "rush" Punk vs HHH than have a subpar match with Punk trying to carry a 7 foot tall, 50 year old Kevin Nash.

But, they've yet to let me down with this... So... I suspect there's more to it than this.

Storyline reasoning might be that the Board of Directors wants Triple H to settle this issue with Punk because they see it as affecting his job performance. They made the match so that they can get it out of his system and put the issue behind them.

It ends with a DQ or a Nash run in, then at the following PPV they can have Nash vs. Punk, followed by Team Punk vs Team HHH (led by Nash) at Survivor Series. Around then is when HHH finally loses it and destroys (and hopefully bloodies) Punk.

In December HHH wins the title, and declares the only way Punk ever gets another title shot is if he wins the Rumble. Punk wins the Rumble, and they have the big blow off at WM with HHH putting over Punk.

This was a VERY interesting episode of Raw...

First of all...they showed that you CAN go a week without your champion fighting. By focusing on the undercard more, everyone looks more important, and therefore you dont need Cena vs Deo Rio 3 times before they fight at the PPV.

The HHH vs Punk announcement...NO ONE saw coming...it's a swerve/hook, which is fine...keeps us on our toes.

Everyone seemed to matter this week. Dolph got elevated to where everyone should now see him as just about main event. Even Otunga has been given a street tough guy gimmick (which will NOT work for him, given his real life)...so as he segues into a feud with Lawler, maybe McSillyPuddy will get his real name back and a repackage (maybe a tag team with Ted Dibiase if you absolutely refuse to fire them). The Miz and Truth should eventually be feuding with Air (lol) Boom for the belts. Swagger is in a mix...Sin Cara I think should be shelved, but people seem to like them.

PS: No Morrison on this show either. I'm all for moving him over to job to Henry after Orton hopefully drops the belt to him.
