If Wolverine Isn't In film maybe another member of original X-Force not used In films yet.
Maybe Cannonball.

If they go with a darker more like hit squad team, I don't see Cannonball in it. He's a bit loud and bright to be in it in a hit squad, even though he is an unstoppable, bad-ass character.

I think/kind of hope it will be Cable, Domino, Psylocke, Deadpool and I would like to say Colossus but I think it will be Fantomex.

I don't think we will get Colossus. He said it's about mutants who didn't get to the mansion and Colossus isn't in either 90s X-Force or Uncanny. Which is what he seems to hinting at using over and over. Fantomex would make more sense with that line up and goes well with Psyclocke

If Psylocke ends appearing on this spin-off, I hope Singer uses her too on next XMen sequel, as a connection between movies.

She is basically the only big x-woman left to appear with main cast, so she would be the perfect link.

I prefer if we see her in a X-Men movie first. I don't want her to be properly introduced in a spin-off movie.

The X-Force line-up should be Cable, Deadpool, Domino, Feral or Wolfsbane and Shatterstar.

I always thought this Variant for UXF 1 would have been a solid line up. Even though Havok and Polaris were never on the team.

Opena's art was killer. They look like Gods on thrones here.

To me, Fantomex and Deadpool looks so similar. I know their personality is different from one another, but visually they are both guys with masks just with different weapons and Fantomex has E.V.A.

Different masks and Fantomex has the power of misdirection (which is pretty cool), while Deadpool has a suped up healing factor. I'm pretty sure Deadpool would have his red outfit and not the X-Force one.

Having two guys with masks worked fine in GI Joe. Coolest parts of the movie. People like that stuff.

Was wondering if anyone knew more about the rights for Deadpool. Hitfix mentioned something breifly back in July about Fox losiing him in a few years if they don't use him. Was thinking that since New Line Cinema was gonna make a Deadpool film (back in 03) without his connections to X-Men, that means Deadpool was grabbed by Fox separately sometime inbetween 04 and Origins or that New Line got the rights from Fox. So was Deadpool not part of their X-Men deal?

On another note.

IMO, if Stryfe or Apocalypse is a villain in a future film, I'd like to see a cool father/son dynamic between Cyclops and Cable. Something where Cyclops at the end has to send his son into the future knowing that he'll become a hero while Cable gets to have a reunion with a father he never knew. Seeing some sort of bonding experience between them as they take on a villain would be much appreciated.

Apocalypse is more fitting to X-Men. After Magneto, he's the neXt big villain of the X-Men. And more people would care about X-Men fighting against Apocalypse than X-Force fighting against Apocalypse.

Perfectly plausible to see the X-Force and Deadool stand alone film released within 6 months to a year of one another. Great times ahead.

X-Force cast/film will please/appeal to fans of all eras. Wadlow carefully, cleverly navigates the legacy.

From his comments I'd say that clearly Cable, Deadpool and Psylocke are for sure in, which is awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if Domino, Angel and Fantomex round it out with Wolvie possibly making a cameo?

Yeah, those line ups seem the most likely. Which would be a pretty sick roster if true. If we do see anyone from the OT would prefer it it be Logan.

No. Colossus is not confirmed. The only two we assume are in and have actually had hints to are Cable and Deadpool.

Colossus's name was randomly thrown in when Wadlow was talking about how many different versions of the roster there are. It was later confirmed that the 5 members will not have made it to Xaviers mansion. No one has been officially confirmed.

No. Colossus is not confirmed. The only two we assume are in are Cable and Deadpool.

Any word yet on whether or not Deadpool will be the same character from Wolverine Origins? My hope is no!
