X-Men 3's cast have been out and about: Halle Berry and Ben Foster were seen working out at the designer gym, Studeo55. Their co-star, Kelsey Grammer, his wife, Camille, and their four-year-old daughter, Mason, visited the fishies at the Vancouver Aquarium last week.
And Sir Ian McKellen dropped by Blue Water Cafe for dinner last week.

Come on...Source: http://roamingmindofnorm.blogspot.com/Friday, December 16, 2005
So today, I wake up. Coffee is made, and a photography magazine awaits (I went to London Drugs last night and found a $20 bill in the parking lot, so I treated myself to the December edition of Outdoor Photographer, and a tin of Tiger Balm. Bad Back.) So I open the magazine, and the phone rings. "Hmm.." I say to myself. "I thought I predicted the Cruise Line call would be around 2:45pm today...and its only 11am." It was a talent agency here in Vancouver that I applied for a few days ago. Apparently I am working on X-Men 3 tonight and tomorrow as a Soldier. Holy $#%!
I guess the Moon got the order of my meditation wrong.
Meh. =)

Celebrity Spottings
Must be the day for celebrity sightings. Or at least for others, not me.
Chris helped Ben Foster (Six Feet Under, X-Men 3) at his job today and they're shooting Da Vinci's City Hall around our office as usual. So we have Nicholas Campbell and the crew running around again. Local actor Nolan Funk was in to shoot an audition today. He's a hard working actor who we see a lot of here. I think I heard him say he was auditioning for Aquaman.
The holiday parties continue, although we haven't been to any since Sunday. Tomorrow night there's another one for one of the bigger agencies that is always a lot of fun, and on Tuesday is my seasonal favorite where you can spot some of the bigger name Vancouver celebs.
Sunday night we saw William B. Davis and Tom Braidwood (X-files, The Lone Gunmen) among other local actors who we vaguely recognized.

I bet Ratner is wishing Sony would pull a stunt like Sony did with Ghost Rider to give the crew some more time.
True, but the shorter the schedule the more money FOX will have to spend to get it ready on time.karea07 said:I really hope they have enough time, but if they are still filming and brought out a great teaser, i'm sure they can do it.![]()

Plus you also have to consider that they may cut scenes (like with Singer) simply because theres no time (and money) to shoot them.

Abbotsford barista Brandon Jonah must have a few horseshoes tucked into his back pocket as far as meeting the rich and famous goes.
He ran into Oscar-winning actor Julia Roberts while he was in Seattle two weeks ago and even got a photo of the two of them with their arms around each other. He was walking through Pike Place Market with some of his colleagues from the Clearbrook Starbucks coffee shop when someone said they spotted Roberts. Jonah found her half a block away with one of her twins and her husband Danny Moder.
"I was the only one lucky enough to find her. I came up behind and said 'Excuse me, Miss Roberts. I'm from Canada and this never happens to me,' and I asked if I could have a picture with her," he said.
She agreed, but when Jonah first passed his camera to her photographer husband, Moder dropped it. Jonah was so nervous he didn't even realize he had his arm around Roberts until he saw the photo.
"My hands were shaking. But she was so friendly. She gave me a smile. It's an excellent smile. It was an experience I'll never forget," said Jonah.
Earlier in the day, Jonah and 15 of his colleagues were chatting with billionaire Howard Schultz, the founder of Starbucks. "We went for a tour of the facility and roasting plant, and we met him in the conference and asked him questions."
Jonah's celebrity-spotting luck is far from gone. On Saturday Jonah said "hi" to Famke Janssen, who plays Jean Grey on X-Men, while he was in Vancouver. And another X-Men 3 actor, Vinnie Jones, was spotted at the Sumas Way Starbucks two weeks ago, Jonah added.

Jackman settles in with X-Men sequel Wolverine
Celebrity
By DARREN PARKMAN
Aussie A-lister Hugh Jackman has been getting into the festive season, as shooting of X-Men 3 winds down.
Jackman was recently seen enjoying some snowy rest and relaxation during a weekend getaway in Whistler.
He was spotted strolling through the village, before stopping into Lush cosmetics, perhaps looking for stocking-stuffers for wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
Jackman may be hanging around our area a little longer than expected.
X-3 was set to wrap shooting this month, but production has been extended into the New Year.
What's next for Jackman?
Yet another reprise of his X-Men character in the form of a feature flick called Wolverine, which is set to start filming in several months.
x-men 3, wrap party -dec18/05

(IMG:style_emoticons/darklook/biggrin.gif) Well...I had loads of fun at the X-Men 3 Wrap party last night. Had my picture taken with "Famke Janssen" (Jean Grey). ...and one of the many many background performers playing mutants.
The wrap party organizers went all out, ice sculptures, door prizes, unbelievable food ,DJ and of course the infamous "out takes" screening. It was great to meet all the rest of the crew from all locations and finally to all get together and chat about upcoming projects. (Wolverine etc..)
Most of the cast is back in the US for Christmas break (IMG:style_emoticons/darklook/sad.gif)
Everyone agreed that we think this will be the best X-Men yet!!!!
Even though they have had the wrap party they are still filming until late January 2006.
cheers

(IMG:style_emoticons/darklook/biggrin.gif) The wrap party was at Monk McQueens....awesome venue and tons of scrumptious seafood.
Famke was very gracious, as beautiful as you see her on screen....very tall to my 5'1 she must be 5'10 ?
She was constantly smiling and saying hello etc to all she knew and meeting others like grips/contruction etc that she did'nt know. I walked up to her introduced myself and asked if I could take a photo with her and she said "Sure" .....no hesitation.
She thoroughly enjoyed the "out take" presentation as she is featured in a scene with Wolverine etc.
She danced and talked with all etc. Very classy lady.
