Well, Berry has been around since like the late 80's. But she's had her hits and misses.

X3 has such an ensemble of brilliant up and coming actors (Foster,Stanford,Ashmore,Paquin,Page) it's amazing.Plus veterans like McKellen,Stewart,Berry,and Grammar,I'm so glad the X-Men movies have had some amazing casting.I hope this continues in the future.

Not to mention James Marsden, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Olivia Williams and Michael Murphy.

Yeah, he's going to be 37 on Oct. 12!

At least "Wolverine" has some sort of script going. No one knows what's going on with "Good" - it was supposed to film last June but was postponed because of financing. He filmed a Woody Allen movie (still untitled) in its place over the summer. Don't forget he's also filming "The Prestige" with Christian Bale starting in January. And he's supposedly reprising "The Boy from Oz" in an arena production in Australia for a bit next year (no more info on that yet). Plus besides the new Woody Allen movie, he has "The Fountain", "X-3", "Flushed Away" and "Happy Feet" coming out next year. And I'm pretty sure he still wants to do a "world tour" at some point. I'm thinking he's doing all these movies now so he can take a break from them and do some sort of tour. He did a one-night one-man show in Las Vegas for the opening of Steve Wynn's new casino on April 30 and the rumored tour would supposedly be something like that.

That's one of the most interesting parts of watching Canadian TV. You see all these characters who were cast in big Hollywood movies simply because they were being shot in Canada...

What's next, the cast of Degrassi as X-kids?

Also big fans of Yaletown, newly engaged couple Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell are rumoured to be staying at the Opus Hotel while Romijn shoots the latest XMen sequel. The couple has been spotted dining at Elixir restaurant and was in for brunch over the weekend at Joe Fortes restaurant. Two weeks ago I mentioned sightings of Jerry’s brother Charlie O’Connell, aka The Bachelor. Charlie was here acting in the movie Deadly Water with Mutant X star Victoria Pratt.The film, described as Jaws meets Indiana Jones, was recently shot in Squamish and apparently involves a giant killer squid.

Last week I mentioned how Paramount movie theatre on Burrard Street has become one of the latest celebrity hotspots. Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf, Lord Of The Rings) just went there last Wednesday! He’s in town to reprise his role as Magneto in X-Men 3. McKellan and director Brett Ratner stayed at Harrison Hot Springs Resort over the weekend.

There's very subtle ways the filmmakers can still leave hints at an X4 without being too overly obvious.

As much as I want closure at the end of X3 I wouldn't mind some loose ends that can be picked up for the eventual X4.

If this is to be the last team-X-movie for a long time than I really don't want any loose ends. If they start the series up again some time later, then start out fresh with new storylines and although you always need your core characters, fresh supporting characters.
