The X3 Cast Thread

But I don't want those subtle hint. :)

If we didn't have those subtle hints in X-men (ie. Jean's weird reaction to the machine) then there's a greater likelihood of having Phoenix as a cosmic entity in X2. And i don't know many here who want to see a certain bird race in X-men 3. :p

Im refering to X3... as in what should be the final chapter.

I don't know how an X4 could be made as a part of this installment because I just can't see ALL of these actors coming back for another one...

All the character's don't have to come back for the next one. Just some and then they will add new ones. They are creative and can make a way to connect X3 and X4 together.

Soap star Mckellen?

You shall not pass...my tractor

Sir Ian McKellen, one of our country's most celebrated thespians, appears to have developed a taste for the high-brow world of soap.

After playing a star turn in Coronation Street as conniving 'author' Mel Hutchwright, who we saw having an on-screen spat with Weatherfield legend Ken Barlow (played by Bill Roache), Sir Ian has now hinted that he is willing to do a stint in Emmerdale.

The 66-year-old, who is a veteran of stage and screen and is now best known for his role as Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, would like to play a long-lost Dingle, apparently.

A TV mole told the Daily Star: "[Sir Ian] does watch Emmerdale when he can - and he loves the Dingle family.

"He'd love to become a part of the clan in a guest role."

It's said that Sir Ian would have no hesitation in joining ITV's other flagship soap if the right part and storyline could be arranged.

However, the soap's bosses are going to have their work cut out to get his attention. Sir Ian is already filming no less than three Hollywood blockbusters, including X Men 3, in which he plays Magneto.

Eastenders = crap
Emmerdale = rubbish
Coronation Street = :up:

Hollyoaks....dont get me started on that waste of cleverage. Average age is 23 and everyone is either blonde or good looking.

whenever im back in london, i always watch some hollyoaks lol

I prefer Emmerdale to Corrie these days, Eastenders is crap right now, it got a bit better a while back but keeps going up and down. I couldn't see Ian on Hollyoaks :|

Maybe he should come in as a serial killer for the "Family Affairs" show finale and massacre them.

I hate soaps, I havent watched one in ages apart from when Ian was in corrie and even then i only watched the odd episode. My whole family watches them though and Corrie is their faves but my nan loves a bit of Emmerdale lol

I think Ian could play a Dingle pretty well :up:

I dont watch soaps anymore...much.

I'm usually out with friends...or on here!

Oct 19 Vancouver Sun:

Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn (here shooting X-Men 3) celebrated their recent engagement in a booth at Joe Fortes on a recent Saturday morning, consuming two dozen oysters, a crepe and a crab benny, washed down with Joe's merlot and a few sleeves of Stella. "They were very tall, gorgeous and the nicest people alive," say the dazzled staff.

Emmerdale is good,it's the only decent soap on tv.

I miss Coronation Street. That was one show (besides football) my father and I never missed. I can't get it where I live now......*weep*

They had coronation street in the us-why.It's crap,trust me your not missing anything.

No, it wasn't in the states. I grew up near the canadian border and we got it from there. Actually, Coronation Street is heads and tails above our "soaps" both daytime and nighttime. It was different, and it showed everyday normal people, not the filthy rich and their problems like we get on our shows. It was a refreshing change. *misses Stanley Ogden*

I used to love the US soap,but they stopped showing them over here-now that was over the top entertainment,just the way I like it.And has for showing every day life,trust me most ppl from england don't act like that-must of the characters are morons.lol.Plus stanley hogden-geez that's going back,I was like a kid when he died.

I'm so old..............

I just hate watching all the hemming and hawing the wealthy soap characters do. Yeah, they have it rough. I liked watching the folks head down to the Rover's Return for a pint. And I felt so sorry for Stanley.

Well he was married to hida-so he had a bad life(man image having to look at her rollers all the time).Plus the US soaps are all beautiful ppl and unrealistic situations-that's what I love about them.
